Whoa! Wait when water pressure is at hose you have to pull the trigger on wand to release pressure so the engine can turn freely. It has so much pressure at wand that it will not let you turn enging over. If not It may have froze up. Check the oil first , no oil then it is locked up. If not you can remove pull rope cage and try to turn it manually.
This is a problem with GC-160 and GC-190 engines on pressure washers, tillers, etc. Once they get some hours on them and as things seat in-wear in, they get to a point you can not pull the start cord. If you remove the spark plug, the engine turns easily. The valves need adjusted. The valves are set .005" to .006" off the seat. This allows enough compression release but the engine runs. I find the valves need adjusted every 25 hours, not the 100 hours Honda states.

Karcher Model G2650 OH with Honda 6.0 HP, GC 190 Engine. Engine won't start. New gas, has spark. Seems to flood instantly. Much gas in cylinder. Spark plug wet. Choke pulled out, power on. Oil OK. released pressure in line. Where can I down load a Honda Engine manual! Thank you !
Have a powerstroke gc 190 honda pressure washer the pressure is great for a little while then it seems to bleed off its a brand new machine. Not even 15 minutes on it.
