these units are best looked at by someone with the correct test equipment

you may need technican to come out with his laptop an recify the problem it will also detect anyother faults as well.

on a fisher paykel I would call them direct, their help desk can walk you through some checks to see what the error is... if I needed service on this unit I would use who they suggest.. because if the servicer does not have access to the factory on FP HE IS GOING TO BE GUESSING WITH YOUR POCKETBOOK in hand... we work on FP everyday and we call often....... Your fridge is telling you there is a fault, i'd say one of the 2 fans are not working. If everything is freezing in the bottom of the food compartment then the upper fan is faulty. You have to remove the shelves & remove the rear panel, the fan is in the shute at the bottom, remove, repair the broken wire or replace. Make sure unit is unpluged.

This is a connection issue between one of the temperature sensors and the electronics, the plugs on the sensors need to be removed and cleaned with contact cleaner and you need to make sure that the contact are pushing firmly against the circuit boards, there are 2 control units, one behind the fridge beside the compressor and one in the back of the fridge which you get to by simply pulling the middle rear panel out after removing the shelves, just be careful as you can damage the plastic.

beeping when door is open is one of its features the flashing light means someone has tried to set something and not completed the selection just try pushing one of the buttonstill it stops

the beeping is an alarm certain lights on the display will be flashing when it is beeping record which lights are flashing this idicates a fault code then post your results and i will tell you what the fault code is and what the problem is likely to be :)

if you leave the door open too long it will flash a warning
close the door and make sure it is tight .
if this doesnt work , just unplug the fridge and plug back in aftera couple of seconds, this will reset the unit and should solve your flashing problem

I would reset the module. Open the fridge door, keep the freezer door closed, then press the mode button (located on the display panel. This will re initiate the electronics

on reading the user manuals, it suggests actually calling the F&P customer service numbers and telling them the pattern of the lights flashing.

They can ?diagnose the fault from the light sequence and can then tell you what u need to have fixed.
