I already have a kindle cloud reader on my Amazon account but would like my books sent to my Kindle as well. How do I add another device to my kindle account?

SOURCE: kindle is stuck in the Amazon.com kindle store can't get out

Hold the power button to the right for 30 seconds. (Time them- not "One thousand one, one thousand two, ect." because this isn't precise enough.) This will reboot the Kindle and it should work. The reboot may take a while if it has been a long time since your last reboot.

SOURCE: How do I add my newly purchased kindle to my amazon account

When you turn your new kindle on it should ask you to register it. If it doesn't then pull down the top bar (on kindle fire HD) and choose "more" on the settings list. Look for the "device" option and open that to register it. Make sure you have wifi turned on first.

As long as they are both registered to the same account. You can transfer them by going to 'Manage Your Kindle' or they will be archived, as long as you downloaded the books via Amazon.

I have 4 kindles, the oldest one has died how can I transfer all the books I have on it to my remaing kindles

Assuming these are e-readers, there should be a spot in the upper left hand corner when you are looking at the library dection of the kindle that says both Device and Cloud. Click "cloud" and then tap on the books you want to download to that kindle.

This is assuming you are logged in to your Amazon Kindle account on the reader. You should already be.

I lost my Kindle. How do I transfer my books from the Kindle App on my Android phone to my new Kindle? The App shows that they are in the cloud.

Hi, there is no need to try to transfer content from your Android Kindle App to your Kindle as all content that is stored in the Kindle Cloud can be downloaded directly to your new Kindle once it's registered. Even the content that is downloaded to your Android remains on the Kindle Cloud. To see if your new Kindle is registered, click here and log in to your Kindle account.

https://www.amazon.com/mycd

Click the Device tab. If your new Kindle isn't already registered, you should have the option to register it. Or, alternately, you can register your new Kindle using Menu and Settings on the Kindle itself.

Once your Kindle is registered you can simply touch *Cloud* on the Home screen when connected to Wifi or 3G and examine the list of books, etc. Touch the ones you wish to download to your device and they should start downloading where they will be stored for off-line reading.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite and a Kindle Fire. I'm trying to get both devices combined in the same account.

If you got to the Amazon Kindle website (using a laptop or desktop is better because of the typing involved) and log in and re-register both devices to the same email and password they will automatically show up as two devices on your one Kindle account and you should be able to use them to share the books on your cloud. The way I understand it is if you have two different user ID's and passwords, you will have two different clouds.

I bought a new kindle and have a question

You would need to deregister the device from the new email address/account and register it to your old address/account, the one that has the rest of your books.

Once registered to your previous account you will be able to take advantage of the Kindle Owner's Lending Library feature.
Here's more information on it: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200757120

Once you've registered your Kindle to your own Amazon account you may still be able to access any books on your previous account if you can take advantage of the Family Library option. Information here:

How do i re-register my kindle onto a different account

First, you need to deregister the Kindle from the old account.

Deregistering will retain the already downloaded books on the E-Ink devices but wipes all purchased content tied to the old account from e.g. Kindle Fire. You cannot restore books from the cloud anymore you purchased on the old account and access to the shop is blocked until the device is registered again. Other Kindle's on the same account and the account itself remain unaffected.

You can do the deregistration from the Kindle's settings menu --> Registration or alternatively from an Amazon web site:

Log in to http://kindle.amazon.com using the old credentials (email + password).

Next, select "Manage Your Kindle" from menu that opens when you hover the mouse over the "Hello, <Name>" link in the upper right corner of the page.

Click on the center tab "Your Devices" and review the list of Kindle devices and software readers tied to your account. Select the device to deregister and click on "deregister" below.

To register the Kindle to a new account, go online with the Kindle, and follow the registration procedure callable from the settings menu. Find a detailed description on
