Everpure faucet leaks at handle, how to fix ??

If your Everpure faucet is leaking at the handle, the problem could be a faulty O-ring or a worn-out cartridge. Here are the steps you can follow to fix the leak:
  1. Turn off the water supply: Before you start working on the faucet, make sure to turn off the water supply to prevent any accidents.
  2. Remove the handle: Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the handle in place. Once the screw has been removed, you can gently pull the handle off the faucet.
  3. Check the O-ring: Look for an O-ring around the base of the handle. If the O-ring is damaged, worn or missing, it can cause water to leak from the handle.
  4. Replace the O-ring: If the O-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one. You can purchase O-rings at a hardware store or online.
  5. Check the cartridge: If the O-ring is in good condition, the problem could be a worn-out cartridge. You may need to remove the cartridge and replace it with a new one.
  6. Reassemble the faucet: Once the O-ring or cartridge has been replaced, reassemble the faucet by putting the handle back in place and tightening the screw.
  7. Turn on the water supply: Finally, turn the water supply back on and test the faucet to see if the leak has been fixed.
If you're having difficulty fixing the leak or if the problem persists, it may be best to contact Everpure customer support for further assistance. They can help you diagnose the problem and recommend the best solution.

I have a Nicolozzi Faucet Monterosa style and the hot water handle is loose and there is no water flow. The cold water handle is fine and there is good flow from the cold tap. I need to know how to ta

Determine which side of your faucet is leaking by shutting off the water supply valves one at a time. If the leak doesn't stop after the first valve is turned off, it's the other line that's leaking.
Once you determine which side is leaking, turn off both supply valves.
If your valves are stuck, shut off the water main. You will have to replace hardware for both sides since you won't be able to identify whether the hot or cold side is leaking.
Disassemble the Old Faucet

Step 1

Turn faucet handles to the "on" position to release any residual water. Close the drain and place a towel in the sink to protect the surface and catch any dropped parts.

Step 2

Remove the aerator and inspect it for damage. If it's stuck, soak a towel in vinegar and wrap it around the aerator to help loosen mineral deposits. After an hour, gently twist the aerator with a towel and pliers.

Step 3

As you disassemble the old faucet, lay the parts in order on a flat surface and snap a picture for reference. Then, put those parts in a plastic bag and take them to the store with you when shopping. You may only require one part, but it may be best to buy a kit and replace everything, including a new aerator if yours is damaged.

Fixed leaking faucet, now handles leak at the base & the water pressure is low

No, air can't get trapped in there. I don't think you did anything wrong. It sounds like the valve or internal parts are worn more than new washers take up for. Tightening down the valve just reduced travel for valve to open fully. Can't think of a fix; where's that joe da plumber?

Moen 2 handle bathroom faucet is leaking out of base of the left handle

There is a plastic retainer not with two tabs used for removal. You will need a removal tool to get this retainer off. Any plumbing supply that carries Moen should have this tool.
After removing the retainer nut, the cartridge pulls right out. Good luck!

Solaris Model #06544860 leaking under the sink. How do I remove and how do I figure out exactly what is leaking?

The first thing I would do is to locate source of the leak. Look carefully at faucet when it is on and see if you have any water leaking from areator and running back down the underside of spout and leaking around base of faucet, also see if you have any leaks around handle. If the leak is from the areator you can just replace it and not have to remove the faucet. when you check under sink on faucet supply lines make sure they aren't leaking at that point. I would use paper towels or rags to wipe everything dry under faucet and let it set for 1/2 hour then check again. If it.s still dry run some water and use both hot and cold water seperatly, checking underside in between. If you determine that leak is coming from top side and leaking thru. Shut off water supply valves if available if not shut off supply to house, make sure water is off before proceeding. Disconnect supply lines from faucet,Remove retaing nuts on either side of base, and remove washers. Remove faucet and check for any obvious faults. If you think it was leaking around base get a small tub of plumbers putty. Most hardware stores stock it. Remove a golf ball sized portion or larger and knead in your hands until it is warm and pliable. Press into place in faucet base. Continue doing this until it's full. Reinstall plastic or rubber base gasket and put faucet back in place Put washers and retaing nuts back on a tighten till snug. Center faucet where you want it and tighten securely. Scrape off excess putty with knife point and wipe with paper towels till clean. Hook up supply lines and turn water back on. Check for leaks and good luck. Thank you
