A sim card or phone needs a puk code or is locked BECAUSE it is not active,in order to unlock a sim card,you need to either,pay the balance owed,buy a new monthly service,open a new contract with a cell service or return the sim card to whom it belongs to,we at fixya CANNOT GIVE YOU A NUMBER TO UNLOCK YOUR SIM CARD,there is a reason why it is locked,if it was easy to get a code,then anyone could steal your phone and use it and you couldnt stop its use for at least a month.
a phone is jail broken when you alter it to work on a different cell service provider,we at fixya do not jailbreak anything,if it isn't legal,then it doesn't belong here.

to deactivate barrings go to call settings check on call barrings nd cancel all barrings... The default password is (0000)...altenatively u cn request a barring password frm ur service provider...also make sure no phone numberS ar in ur contact black list.!

The incoming calls whilw roaming is barred and no-one seems to know what code was used. Tried all the usual 111, 0000 etc. Help
Hi, Go to Call Setting, then go to Call barring, you will a outgoing calls,incoming calls, activate all, cancel all & Change barring password. choose the "cancel all" then the call barring password is 0000. if still the same maybe someone change your barring password. try to talk to your friends to know who made it.

Call Barring Password
Default call barring password is 1234..To change the password go to settings then call barring. Select options then edit password. Enter current password then new password two times to confirm. Make sure to remember the password.
To activate call barring dial *33*1234# if your password is 1234, then press send/call. To deactivate dial #33*1234# then press send/call.

Hi,

Read this line by nokia 6030 in their .pdf file

"The barring password is required when using the Call barring service. See Security settings, 48. It has 4 digits.
If the codes or passwords are not supplied with the SIM card, contact your local service provider'.
