SOURCE: Jazzy 1113 ATS Indoor Power Wheelchair: the battery is fully charged but it wont move does...

Hi. Your machine probably has a fault, but I very much doubt that it needs reprogramming.
Are the free-wheel levers in the correct place? Is the machine displaying any fault codes, e.g. flashing LED's and what is the pattern or number of flashes between pauses?
Good luck. Neil.

SOURCE: replaced battery in jazzy 600

Make sure that your drive wheels are engaged and the power chair is not in the freehweel position (so it can be pushed).

SOURCE: Pride Jazzy 1121 power wheelchair has leaked oil

There's not too much you can do about the gearbox leaking oil. The gearbox will usually leak at the top gasket or seals. I suppose you could try to re-torque the bolts holding the top gearbox flange, but the other seals are usually leak due to age or overheating. If you pull it apart to re-torque the bolts, you might as well replace it along with the motor and brake. The gearbox grease stains are hard if not impossible to remove from carpeting and flooring.
If the motor drags you could have a bad brake which indicates you should replace the entire assembly. If the chair veers to the right you might have one motor spinning faster than the other due to age or damage. You can go into the programming menu with a hand held programmer and adjust the steering correct to compensate for the motor difference.
The bottom line is that you are due to replace at least one brake/motor/gearbox very soon. I usually replace them as a pair since the other side will also need replacement soon.
The motor/brake/gearbox assembly will run you about $700 for each side. Labor cost will be about 1 to 1.5 hour per side.
This is an older model Jazzy which was very sturdy, reliable and popular. You should evaluate the condition of the other components when deciding how much to spend on the repair. Replacement for a comparable chair has gone up considerably and I personally don't think the motor quality is as good. Hope this helps.

Jazzy 6 flashes 7 times.

this is a problem with the Joystick or a connection to the joystick. Check the wiring first. It has been my experience that the controller may also have a hand in this code. Have a Qualified tech check it out. Strege Mobility

Light flashes 7 times

7 Flashes indicates a joystick trip. Turn off your chair, ensure the joystick is in center position without anything touching it and turn on chair. This should clear the 7 flash code.

This problem is quite common amongst power chair users. It typically occurs when something is pressing against the joystick as you are turning the chair on.

It will not move the light s are flashing and it is fully charged it happen beforte and all it was a code to get it going

You can visit this website to find answers on what the flashing trouble indicator lights mean: http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the page that has the controller used on your power chair/scooter and count how many lights are flashing to diagnose the trouble. Make sure that your manual brake/freewheel lever is in the "drive"position. If your insurance purchased the power chair for you, they may also cover the repairs; contact them for information.
Good luck!

Put the chair in free wheel mode and then back again and then turn the chair off then on again. Sometimes the chair will get out of gear just a littel.
