check drive shaft end through hub bearing replace washer with a thicker and a bigger diameter at most 1.5mm inner and thickness with the original and tight the hub nut, end of story
sounds like it may be bad wheel hub bearing. wen going down road with no traffic steer left then right left right and see if noise gets louder and softer wen weight shifts from side to side. if it does u may need to get new hub bearings
when i hit a curb with my 97 cavileier and bent the center hub its made a noise something like the one you are describing i changed it to a new one and there was still a slight noise i took it back of and took a closer look and the new hub had a slight warp to it so i took it back got another one and no noise i think that your hub maybe faulty as well dont mark my words but it worked for me
you have a bad hub starting to go, new premium hubs are around 100$ now can you tell what side it is on .hubs make noise around corners or is it your steering pump making noise my bet is the hub is going dry.
Drive the car in a parking lot and make left and right hand turns.
If the noise goes away on either turn then the problem is a front hub bearing.
If the noise is still there, it could be possible front differential bearings.
