How do i get rid of red exclamation mark on text messages
This applies to all phones, not just the HTC models:-
When a txt or multimedia message cannot be sent, most phones will show a red warning triangle alongside the message to let you know it was never sent, either because of a phone network error, or because you may have pressed the 'back' or 'home' button before sending (in which case the message you'd typed so far will be saved as a draft copy, ready to continue being typed/sent later).
To remove any message that has a warning marker against it, the usual method is to hold your finger on the actual message text, and a menu will appear - now select DELETE on that menu. This method is the same for all kinds of Android, Iphone and Symbian mobiles. Other phones that have there own specialised operating system may need you to press a 'menu' button to find an option for deleting.
Note though, that although you may have a warning triangle indicating a txt has not been sent, the message may still have been sent anyway. Sometimes the phone system gets it wrong, and the phone thinks one thing while the network operator thinks another lol.
Generally, for most phones using the Andoird system, holding your finger down on any text, text box, picture or anything else, will display a menu after a few seconds, allowing you to copy, delete, resend or edit. This feature varies depending on the phone model, operating system version etc.
