How do I unlock the device to be able to record a file? When we hit the record button the screen tells us to unlock. Only the Record Pause and Stop buttons will work.

We use the Marantz PMD580 in our Board Room. The device is rack mounted but not network connected. It is manually operated. The device is not in a state that locks out the keys.Only when we try to record a file do we encounter the unlock message.

Can i transfer vhs to dvd

I haven't been able to use my Emerson EWR20V4 for a long time, but as I recall, the easiest way is to cue the tape to your desired starting point, pause, then hit the record button on the panel's DVD side, let it spool up & start recording, then unpause the tape. If desired, I think you can hit the DVD record button again to set 1/2-hr. increments before the recording will stop.

How do I pause when recording?

I understand that you wish to Pause and Continue recording to record several scenes in a single file. Unfortunately, HDD Camcorders(regardless of manufacturer) do not have the option to pause and record in a single file. Once you press STOP, it will save the current file and When you press the Record again, it will start record as a new file. This is because of the characteristics of the HDD media. If you wish to have the video as a single file, please use a video editing software to combine the videos.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

Just bought a used Sony TCWR610, to reproduce some valued cassettes. Cannot get the B deck to record. There is a little red light that comes on that says REC, but deck does not turn as I start the tape...

I have the same tape deck. To do a copy on this machine you first press the normal speed button below synchro dubbing, then hit the pause button on the recording side to start the copy. It will automatically start both decks.

And to stop the recording hit either of the stop buttons.

I have a sandisk sansa m240 mp3 player i found but the screen is busted. I figured out how to do everything without the need of seeing what was on the screen, except how to record stuff.

This will probably be impossible without a screen, but here are the steps:
The Sansa Fuze has a built-in microphone allowing you to record your own voice, an
interview, or a speech.
To start voice recording, follow these steps:
1. Press the Home button to return to Main Menu.
2. Select Voice from the Main Menu.
3. Select Record Now.
4. To pause the recording, select Pause.
5. To stop the recording, select Stop.
6. Select Yes to save the recording.
7. Press the |<< button to return to the previous menu.
