The lamp time is the time counted after the last resetting. It is shown in the OPTION menu as the usage time of the lamp. Pressing the RESET button on the remote control or the ? button of the projector displays a dialog. To reset the lamp time, select the RESET using the ? button. RESET ? CANCEL • Please reset the lamp time only when you have replaced the lamp, for a suitable indication about the lamp.

Replaced XD300U projector lamp. Need to know how to reset lamp timer. Won,t turn on because lamp timer has expired to 0. Needs to be reset. Lost our manual. Please help.

"Reset the lamp counter
i. Press and hold Exit on the projector
for 3 seconds to display the total used
lamp time.
ii. Press Menu on the projector or on
the remote control to access the lamp
hour timer. An adjustment message
will appear.

I just change the lamp but still the lamp hours shows the old timing

HelloYou have to reset the lamp time after lamp replacement. To reset lamp time follow these steps.[1] Press the power button, so that a picture is projected onto the screen.[2] Press the 'menu' button to display the 'main menu' screen, and press 'up' or 'down' buttons to move the cursor to select 'options-2'.[3] Press the 'enter' button to display the 'options-2' screen, and then use the 'up' and 'down' button to select 'lamp runtime'.[4] Press and hold 'enter' button for approximately 3 seconds. The 'lamp runtime' will change to 'time reset [power off]. Note: If the 'menu' button is pressed the lamp time resetting screen will be cancelled.[5] Hold down the 'power' buttonfor at least [0.5] seconds or press the 'power' button twice to turn oFF the power. This will reset the cumulative usage time for the lamp unit into Zero. OK.

I need to reset lamp timer

Here is the procedure for reseting the lamp.

Plug in the power cord, turn on the lamp, and press the Left Arrow button, Right Arrow button, and POWER buttons on the control panel ALL AT THE SAME TIME, holding them all down for about three seconds.

Notes:
•Unless these three buttons are pressed at the same time, the lamp operation time isn't reset.
• Make sure that the STATUS indicator is lit twice and the lamp operation time is reset successfully.
• The projector doesn't turn on if the lamp cover isn't attached securely.
• Be sure to reset the lamp operation time whenever you replace the lamp.
• Do not reset the lamp operation time unless you replace the lamp.

Indicator lights on, no function, no fan, no lamp

Press the MENU button to display the "MAIN MENU", and then select "OPTION".
Press the ENTER button to display the "OPTION" menu, and then select "LAMP RUNTIME".
Press and hold the ENTER button for approximately 3 seconds.
The "LAMP RUNTIME" will change to "TIME RESET [POWER OFF]".
Turn off the power and disconnect the power cord.
This will reset the cumulative usage time for the lamp unit to "0".

This should work:

How to reset the operation time meter
Plug in the power cord, switch on the projector, and
reset lamp time by pressing the (left and right arrow) and POWER buttons on the control panel simultaneously.
Important:
• If the 3 buttons was not pressed at the same time,
the lamp time may not be reset.
• Please confirm the TEMP indicator illuminates
about 2 seconds and the lamp time has been
reset.
• The projector will not turn on if you do not secure
the lamp lid.
• You must reset the operation time meter after you
replace the lamp.
• Do not reset the operation time meter unless the
lamp has been replaced.

Directions for lamp time reset


Lamp Time Reset Procedure:
Be sure to reset the Lamp time to "0" after replacing the new
Lamp.
1. Plug in the AC Cord, and turn on the power by pressing the
POWER button.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button on the unit and
the SPLIT key on the remote together for over 5 seconds
in power on condition.
When the reset is finished, the display will indicate that the lamp hrs have been reset to 0 and the LAMP LED goes out.

Replaced lamp, reset LCD - still displaying replace lamp

You must normally use the remote control to reset the lamp time. If you do that through the menu options and reset lamp hours, it should be OK.
