Your best bet is to read pg 18 and 19 of the user manual
where it will show you where the release latch is and how to disengage it properly.

Remember to have unplugged the unit while you are doing this

how to oil the cadence 927 thresdmill shuould i oil drive belt as well as walking belt

I centered the belt on my tredmill and now it wont move at all. I tighted and loosened the belt. motor runs belt wont move

check on/off switch located in frt of item where power cord goes in....and if that works, since its been just sitting there folded up, lubercation will be needed under walking belt-do not use silicone spray or wd-40. it has to be a special lube from manufacture-find manual,there is phone #, ask 4 parts dept, tell them u need lube of item, they and send with credit card let me know when u get, i will tell u how to apply lube, its easier then making coffee...david
