You can adjust turn on or adjust settings for these features on the Use the computer without the mouse or keyboard page in the Ease of Access Center. Open the Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard page by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Ease of Access, clicking Ease of Access Center, and then clicking Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard.
Select the options that you want to use:
Use On-Screen Keyboard. This option sets On-Screen Keyboard to run when you log on to Windows. On-Screen Keyboard displays a visual keyboard with all the standard keys. You can select keys using the mouse or another pointing device, or you can use keys on the standard keyboard. For more information about using On-Screen Keyboard, see Type without using the keyboard (On-Screen Keyboard).

Use Speech Recognition. The option allows you to control the computer with your voice. With a microphone, you can speak commands that the computer will understand and respond to, as well as dictate text.

My computer does not have a cd drive but i have a cd key code what can i do its for the game capture

If the game is already installed, then you can add the key when you start the game. A menu will usually show up to put it in when you begin. If you haven't already installed it, you can add an internal CD drive inside your computer. Or if you don't need one permanently, you can get an external CD/DVD drive that plugs into your USB port. You won't be able to use the game without the key.

My Toshiba Satellite's screen decided to not turn on the other day, the computer is still working - The hard drive is spinning and the battery/power/hard drive lights are on. Is there any way to connect...

The computer should drive an external screen easily. There are key combinations on the keyboard to switch graphics output. Usually you hold a blue key and press the function key with the picture of two screens on it. Windows 7 actually detects the screen and you don't have to do anything. If all else fails you can by an empty caddy on ebay and fit your drive to that. Then USB into another computer. Look at your hard drive to see if it's SATA (two plastic blades) or IDE (loads of gold pins) to see which laptop drive caddy to buy.

How to setup bios for booting form usb or sdcard

Step 1:
There are many good reasons for booting your computer from a USB drive. For instance, if you want to try out another operating system without disturbing the main hard drive on your computer, then installing the new OS on an external drive is a great way to run the system through its paces and decide whether you like it.

This approach will offer you the flexibility of being able to run both operating systems on your computer. However, before you can boot the new operating system from the USB drive, you will need to change the boot order for your computer in the system BIOS.

Connect the external USB drive or pen drive to the computer before you power it on. Press the "Delete" key as the computer performs the "Power On Self Test" (POST) to enter the BIOS area of the computer firmware. The POST performs a diagnostic of components on the motherboard and does a cursory check of the hard drive, memory and processor. The POST only lasts a few seconds; therefore, press the "Delete" key quickly. Enter the administrative BIOS password if prompted to do so. Once you enter the correct password, you will see the main BIOS screen. Use the right-arrow key to navigate to the "BOOT" menu option at the top of the screen, and press the "Enter" key. Press the down-arrow key until the cursor is on the "Boot Device Priority" label. Hit "Enter," and press the down-arrow key again to highlight the "1st Boot Device" option. Press the "+" or "-" keys to scroll through the available boot options until the "USB Drive" or "USB-HDD0" label is the highlighted option. Press the "F10" key to save changes and exit the BIOS setup program. When the computer restarts, wait for the "press any key to boot from external drive" prompt to display, and then press any key on the keyboard to boot from the USB drive. Award or Phoenix BIOS Connect the USB drive to the computer. Wait for the POST to display on the screen, and press the "Delete" key to enter the BIOS. Enter the BIOS password if prompted to do so. Tap the right-arrow key until the cursor is over the "BOOT" menu option. Press the "Enter" key. Press the down-arrow key until the highlighted cursor is on the "Removable Devices" option. Press the "+" key until the "Removable Devices" label is on the top of the boot device list. Press the "F10" key to save the changes for the boot order in the BIOS and to exit the utility. After the computer restarts, press any key on the keyboard to boot from the USB drive when prompted to do so.

DdI bought a pc without a hard drive. When i replaced the hard drive, the screen then told me i had to activate windows.Do i need to purchase software for that?

Maybe. This depends on Microsoft's view of your product key. First attempt to let Microsoft activate Windows over the network connection (if the computer is on a wide-area network). If it isn't able to activate, you should call Microsoft's activation: (888) 571-2048 . (A set of windows should come up to walk you through the activation over the phone.)

Activation checks if the same product key is being used by one (and only one) computer. It also notes if the computer has undergone major changes - and is a new computer by Microsoft's viewpoint. If you have a valid product key (not on any working computer) but have a new computer, you should be able to get it activated without paying for any new software. However, if Microsoft says you have an invalid license, you may have to buy a product key.

Please note: activation with Windows 7 can be a pain if a false "invalid or pirated software" conclusion is made by the Microsoft computer. The Microsoft staff can walk you through the fix - I found it online back when I was upgrading to Win7 but have lost the link. (WinXP -> Win7 at the time)

Activation is required to keep Windows working normally. Without that, Windows Updates will be unavailable and you will eventually get a weird background with regular "not a valid copy of Windows" messages.

I hope this helps.

4. Select the language you wish to use and press the "Enter" key.
5. Type in the computer's administrator ID and password. Press the "Enter" key.

8. Press the "Enter" key to begin the reformatting process. The process takes a few minutes, so be patient. Do not turn off the computer or attempt to stop the process after it has begun, or this may result in major damage to the hard drive.
9. Choose "Finish" and press the "Enter" key to restart the computer. The computer will restart with the original factory settings.

My mac air stays on grey screen how do i get it to boot !

Insert your Mac OS disc and start your laptop with the c key held down. It will launch the system on the disc instead of your computer. Once it reaches the desktop, you can choose "Disk Utiltiies" from the menu bar and run a disc repair on your hard drive to fix any damaged OS file... then restart without the OS disc.
