The cord doesn't overheat by itself or cause a fuse to open - something it is connected to is causing the problem.
I viewed the manual but I don't see what the voltage for this is. First make sure you're providing the proper voltage (most likely 120 or 240 volts if in North America) to the appliance.
Next, shut power off to the circuit and then plug and unplug the dryer from the outlet several times to see how well it holds the prongs of the plug. It should grip the plug prongs tightly. If it does not - this loose/ poor connection can be the source of the excessive heat. It will be necessary to replace the plug before going forward.
Next, make sure that you are operating the dryer as per manufacturer's instructions - paying particular attention to inspecting, cleaning and any other maintenance that is done before or after each use - such as lint filters and air intake filters as described on page 11 of the manual (linked below).

As far as a replacement a cordset - you should be able to find them at big box stores such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy and others that sell appliances.
