How to configure my laptop so window fits monitor display

Hi ,
You can right click on your laptop , and this will bring up a menu , look for screen\ res. , highlight and click , this will take you to the display prop. ,on the left hand side you see change display res. when this menu pops up , you will have a chance to change the res. I would go with 1024x 768 res. it seems to be the best res. to fill the display .

I have a viewsonic GA655 monitor and the screen is too big so you cant see part of it. How do I make it fit in the monitor screen? How do I adjust the size and geometry?

You didn't specify which operating system you're using! If using Windows 7 go to start --> control panel --> and under the category "Appearance and Personalization" choose "Adjust Screen Resolution", and adjust to an appropriate size!

The text and pictures on my Kogi monitor are too big for the screen. How do I fit everything on the screen to the right size?

Sounds like your monitor isn't set up at the correct resolution.

If you're running Windows, go to your Control Panel and into Display > Screen Resolution.
Try setting it to 1024x768 or higher.

Yes right click on the desktop and click properties, when the window comes up, go to settings, and set to say 800x600, and click OK, this may sort you out.
Also ensure you have the graphics manager installed too.

Using as a duo monitor. when transfering screen image to it, the screen is extremely too large . How do I reduce the size?

Increase the resolution of the monitor with the really large image. Also, in vista and windows 7, go to display and there should be a button to reduce the size of whats on the screen.

The document size is too big when scanning

I'm assuming that you mean the scanned image is to big to fit the screen, and not that the document you are scanning is too big to fit in the scanner...

Try reducing the resoloution of the scan, this will redce the size of the scanned image.

EG: at the moment your probably scanning at 1200 dpi, when 300 dpi might suit the application better.

Program interface

Hi, Perhaps the developers of that program has set that to be the maximum size in relation to your Screen resolution. Maybe what needs to be done is to increase you screen resolution to something like 1280 X 1024 or at least 1024 X 768. This could be done by: 1. Right click on any clear are of your desktop; 2. Click on properties; 3. Go to Settings tab; 4. Set your Screen Resolution to your desired size (1280 X 1024, 1024 X 768 or whatever is comfortably acceptable to you and your video/monitor); 5. If within capability of your video card/monitor, you can also adjust you Color Quality to the Highest (32bit); 6. Click on Advanced button; 7. Click on Monitor tab; 8. Select highest Screen refresh rate (maybe 85 Hertz) within capacity of your video card & monitor; 9. if a selection or setting does not work, pressing escape will revert you back to the previous setting; 10. Apply, OK. Hope this be of some help/idea. post back how things turned up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.
