I can't use the Copy to Card function! Why doesn't it show up in the menu as an option?

I have a Samsung Digimax S600 digital camera. I have some pictures that are on the camera itself (I took them without an SD card). I do not have the cable to transfer the pictures to my laptop, so I tried to use the Copy to Card function. The Copy to Card option shows up when I do not have an SD card inserted into my camera, but when I do have an SD card in my camera, the Copy to Card option does not appear in the menu. Can you tell me what to do to transfer my pictures onto an SD card?

DriverSamsung Digimax S600 drivers

You don't need a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Will windows vista work with my samsung s600

Certainly. Your camera doesn't care what operating system you have on your computer.
