Decalcify means that there's calcium buildup inside the coffee maker. You can buy stuff to put through it, but white vinegar works about as well. Fill the reservoir with vinegar, and start the coffee maker. You may need to run it more than once.
after it's run through, run 2 or 3 pots of clear water before you try to actually make coffee.

Stuck on ventilate

Try this, open steam wand, if it calls for ventilate pusi in steam knob, if that works then the tap rod on the steam valve needs to be replaced. To me it sounds like the machine is building up pressure and the discharge is not releasing through the water circuit.

My coffee machine says "ventilate"

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put acup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch thedischarged water and press the hot water button (upper left button onmy machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.

Decalcification and Ventilate

Hi,

Try to make a cup of water (tea), make sure you get a full cup of water. If you only get a half cup of water then i think you have to replace the flow meter in the machine.

Best regards
