How much is the inlet valve cost - Washing Machines

Most common is a burnt out inlet valve. Turn off water and disconnect power. The valve on Bosch dishwashers is at the back on the bottom panel. The water feed pipe is attached directly to the inlet valve. The valve itself iis set into a small rectangular panel that is sometimes just clipped in or held with two screws at one end. Remove this panel and disconnect the two wires on the valve and disconnect the internal feed pipe. These valves are common on Neff, Siemens and Bosch dishwashers and washing machines and generic after-market replacements can be had for less than £10 (about £25 from Bosch). If it is not a defective inlet valve it could be a defective control board in which case the the cost of replacement has to be weighed against the cost of a new machine.

Hey Tommy, Your description leads me to think that you are plugged. I have never had to change a valve trying to change flow. I would not do that.
Take off the hose before the valve and be sure that you have good flow from the source. If so, see if you can remove and open up the valve. Some you can and some you cannot... If you cannot save it, get the correct replacement and it should work fine.
I think your valve is plugged. look for a screen that you can clean in the inlet of the inlet valve.

You can check the inlet valves with either an o'scope or a multimeter. Unfortunately, the control module PN: 661081 controls the voltage to the inlet valves and costs around $240.

Most probably, its faulty water fill inlet valve.But the possibilities for this problem are.The water main valve is turned to off.First check that.If its turned to on, then its not that case.The water passing line / tube is blocked or unplugged from the valve.First see, if its properly connected and not got loose, if that is not the case,m then check if its got friezed and ice got collected in that tube.If its clear, then its not the case.Then other possibility is water inlet valve.The water tube connects to the water inlet valve.If this inlet valve is faulty, then it will not let the water to enter in water section or icemaker section.The water inlet valve is not very costly part and easy to replace.Just connect proper tube to the valve, while replacing it.You can get required parts from from online sites like: --- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site. --------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
