The DMD chip has gone bad. Check to see if you are still in warranty. Samsung has a one year parts and labor warranty on your set. If your set is out of warranty then ONLY the DMD Chip needs to be replaced. DMD part# is 4719-001997

What is the correct part# for a DLP: Mitsubishi WD60737 60", Serial#139599 Made June 2009?

If your set worked well (no lines, maybe only white or black scattered pixels) before you replaced the DLP chip, then your problem could be that the DLP chip did not get seated properly or the cam screws were not tightened enough after replacing the chip. The DLP chip must be seated properly in its socket or else line and column lines will be seen. There is also the possibility that the DLP chip is defective or suffered static damage while being handled during the installation. Hope this helps.

White pixels nec np100

Your DLP chip is damage or getting to been damage.
** To make it sure you can do it your self by getting some basic tools such as proper screw drive, and open your projector for parts.
And you can physically observe the Chip.
Please check by side angle on the chip surface. **

How to fix my 65" toshiba white pixel problem

Thats caused by the DLP chip. Unfortunately most Toshiba models will end up having to have both the DLP chip and the formatter board replaced at the same time to fix the issue where as other models only require replacing the DLP chip alone to fix the white dots issue

My ViewSonic PJD6221 Projector shows scattered white dots on the screen

Your dlp chip is going bad and cannot be fixed economically. Several of the mirrors on the chip are hanging up and they won't come back. It will just get worse. My Sharp XR32X is doing the same thing. New projector time.

Hi , 2 weeks ago i noticed some dead pixels showing up on my screen (white dots) since then i'm up to 10 dead pixels. What can i do? I heard it might be the dlp projector that has to be replaced...

White pixels are STUCK pixels, not dead. Read the warranty beacuse at a certain number of stuck/dead pixels, the tv is repaired for free by the seller if is in warranty period.

GREY SPOTS ON BACK OF SCREEN NOTICEABLE WITH WHITE

Hi if your tv is a dlp it might be an issue with the DMD board Hi,Yes your problem sounds like the DMD board. This is how it works: http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/dlp1.htm Basically the light of the lamp goes through a tunnel that carries a color wheel(rotating disc with a gamma of colors that creates the colors on your tv)then the light of the lamp goes through the DMD board which is a chip composed of around 2 million pixels that creates the images and colors. When it starts to fail it will create black bars, pixelation, color distortion or white dots on screens. Here's a video that will help you find where the DMd chip is located : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jr_9A5Xd2Q Have a blessed one!

Dark spots on screen on DLP when screen is white

What size are the spots?
If they are 1 pixel in size you have stuck DLP mirrors.
If they are larger not symmetrical then it's most likely dust blobs in the optics near the focal point (on the DLP chip glass window)

Dead Pixels

You cannot fix the bad pixels, it simply means your screen has been damaged OR there was a manufacturing problem (faulty hardware).

The phone should still be under warranty, you need to send it in to be repaired.
