Do you have the timer set to turn it off, some one may have accidently turned on the timer to shut it off. Or something in the board is getting hot and shutting it off

about the only thing you might look at is the power supply and also I would be interested to know if you had a DVD etc connected and turned it on if it did the same thing.
Ur LCD inverter board is dead.Replaced this inverter board,u will get the picture back.Tries Websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD inverter board for the replacement.It a long shape board.
Problemed solved,,,read on different thread to reach through the access panel and dust of projection lens in the bottom center of TV,,picture looks brand new!
Most likely your power supply is shot. That is the most common problem with tvs'. EIther power supply or convergance board. If tv won't stay on, then it's a bad power supply
