Why won't heat on inside although hot air comes out on side of microwave?

If it doesn't clean with dish soap, particularly where the microwaves come through the place on the right side that is plastic,then it is pooched. The microwaves will not get through to the heating area and reflect back to the magnatron. The thermal switch will open and the unit will not heat. or get hot and the food will be under cooked.

ive seen this happen before there is a cooling duct that fan blows cool air over magnetron (to cool it off) this duct is exausted into inside of oven , when hot food is left inside for a bit the steam and grease condenses inside this duct /tunnel leading to foul odor that eventually effects food taste , very dificult to clean out but can be done by a professional serviceman using oven cleaners (do not spray any cleaners into ports) remember there is very high voltage present inside there and that port does lead right to it !!!!

The circuit board is in a separate section so the motherboard can't come into contact with the exploded egg. Was any liquid cleaning solution sprayed inside to clean up the mess? There might be some crevices where cleaning solution spray could work its way into the circuit board section since it's very close by. Always use a damp cloth instead of saturating the oven with cleaner.

After cleaning the interior thoroughly, residual grease may be removed from the interior ducts and heater by simply operating the oven on 450 F for 20 minutes without food. Ventilate the room if necessary.

Usually the sparks are from exposed metal. Clean the oven, and the table and anything else you can inside. Then just try nuking a cup of water. That gives it something to work with and it won;t make any sparks itself. Then just see if the sparks are gone. If the paint has come off inside the cavity and exposed some metal you can get sparks but that usually means replacing the microwave. If its caused by an object or buildup then a good cleaning stops it.

inside your microwave is a heat censor, if it cuts the microwave off then its to hot for safty have a good look round the back of it to check that the air vents are all clear and that a good air supply can get all around it when its cooking food,,, iv seen so many microwaves tucked away into a small place, and they will all cut out when they get to hot,,,1100 watts gets very hot too!

yes you can use a good cleaner inside the microwave but try not to scratch it to much just go easy on it

Normally when u cook food in microwave the fod is cooked by microwaves, which means the heat is generated with in food. The temperature inside is never too hot and all the heat produced is absorbed with in the food.

On the other hand when the grill is switched on, a separate heatting element gets switched on. You can see this red hot element on the top side of inside of microwave. the heat from this element gets transferred to food through air circulation. But partof heat also gets transferred to the walls of microwave oven. This is the reason the wall feel hot during use of grill.

As i see ther is no problem with the microwave itself. Jut kep delicate thngs a bit away from the microwave.
