Why isn't the camera working properly?

I had not used for year. I keep getting the message "task is in progress do not detach from power source". It is plugged into the power source and has a charges battery. It also turns itself on and off. Although it seems to record I can not get access to recorded material. As soon as I put it in play mode I get the task in progress message and the camera shuts down. I am wondering if the internal battery needs replacing or is it a hard drive issue.

SOURCE: conecting a bullet camera to dv cam

Excuse my ignorance but I am not at all sure what a "bullet" camera is.

I have used a wireless cam (security cam) on a model aircraft and recorded it on my Panny quite well. It is just a matter of connecting up right leads to the right places and this is probably in your manual.

What do i need to know about a 95 hitchhiker ii?

The Hitchhiker II is a fifth wheel RV trailer manufactured by Nu-Wa Industries. Here are some basic things to keep in mind when operating the furnace and power:
  1. Turning on the furnace: The furnace in your Hitchhiker II can be turned on by adjusting the thermostat to the desired temperature and setting the furnace to "ON" mode. The furnace will then start to run and heat the trailer.
  2. Power: The Hitchhiker II may be equipped with either a 30-amp or 50-amp electrical system. Before plugging your RV into a power source, ensure that you have the correct type of cord and adapter. To connect your RV to a power source, plug the cord into the power source and then plug the other end into your RV's power inlet.
  3. Electrical safety: Always use caution when working with electrical systems in your RV. Make sure that you understand how to use the breakers and fuses in your RV, and always use proper safety gear when working with electrical components.
  4. Maintenance: To keep your Hitchhiker II in good working order, it's important to perform regular maintenance tasks such as checking the furnace filter, cleaning the furnace and air conditioning ducts, and inspecting the electrical system for any signs of wear or damage.
  5. Manuals: Keep the owner's manual and any other relevant manuals on hand for reference. These manuals contain important information about operating and maintaining your RV, and can help you troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Communications error between Windows 8.1 computer and Artisan 835 scanner

If you are getting a 'carriage jam' error as soon as you turn on your Epson printer with no tasks in progress, then check for any piece of paper stuck in the carriage. Remove the paper carefully. If the paper tears, part of it might remain inside the paper path and damage the product.

Fix 'Carriage Jam' : Open Door, clear carriage jam,
and then press OK to continue' error message
Turn off the printer and open it to see where the paper is stuck.
Manually move the carriage toward the opposite side.
Check the paper path and remove any piece of paper or any other object that is stuck in the path.
Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

The battery does not charge, its a new battery.what do i look for?

if its a new battery it could be as simple as it wasn't charged when you purchased it, If it was charged and your mower isn't charging it, the power source to the battery from the mowers motor isn't working properly,, not knowing if its a 12 or 6 volt system you need to check the battery ,, see which one it is,, using a multimetter ( if its 12v ) check the battery after you charge it with an outside source ( battery charger) you would have a reading of 12-12.5 volts on a normal check,, then start the mower, and check the battery as its running,, you should get a reading of 13-13.5 volts minimum, if your not, the alternator or magneto isn't working properly, if you do show the increased voltage at the battery connections, then you need to clean the contacts since the charge isn't reaching the actual battery

Even with absolutely fresh batteries properly installed, I keep getting a "change the batteries" message, and then the camera shuts down. It worked fine for two years!

Peter,
Try using a Q-tip and some alcohol to clean the contacts inside the battery housing of the camera - it's possible there's enough build up to prevent a clean connection.

Thank you.

Coolpix 995 CF Card error

My Nikon 995 began having trouble communicating with the CF card. At first it was intermittent then later there was nothing. After a couple of years of non-use, I decided to open it up to see if there was anything obvious. If I destroyed the camera in the process, no big loss. All the card slot pins were there and non were bent or coroded. Removing the drive, I could see under a microscope about half the pins on one side solder connections had broken. I assume from the repeated insertion and extraction of the card. (I use a card r/w drive in my pc instead of an interface cable to the camera). After I reflowed the pin solder connections and re-assembled the camera, all is good again.

You should know the disassembly/assembly of the camera is complex, and tedious. The connector pins are very small. I repaired the pin solder connections using a small high quality soldering iron while looking through a microscope. Witthout the scope, I couldn't even tell the connections were bad much less be able to repair them.

Router will not power up

I wrote a long response to your question, which apparantly has been lost in the web somewhere.
Try to make sure the detachable power cord is properly connected, and twisted 1/4 turn clockwise to lock in place.
Make sure the toggle switch is working freely.
Make sure the collet lock or spindle lock is not engaged.
If that doesn't help, please write back and I'll try to re write a troubleshooting guide for you.
I can't believe it didn't post properly.
Anyway, good luck!

Error message "power surge on hub" when attempting to upload from N C 5200

Hi, are you using a USB hub or attaching directly to the computer USB port?
  1. If you are using a USB hub, which is then connected to your computer ... you either need to
    1. Plug the camera directly in to the computer so that the computer supplies the USB with more power to the camera.
    2. If the USB hub has a power plug/adapter, use it so the USB hub gets more power to handle the task.
    3. Buy a different USB hub that has a power adapter so enough juice can be supplied to the tasks that USB is asking to do.
  2. Some USBs on the computer aren't giving enough power, you may have a bad USB port, try another one.
  3. Use a Card Reader, which is much faster to download pictures than from the camera.
Reason: some times, the USB task is asking for a lot more power than is being supplied through the current USB path. You have to either add power through an adapter or plug directly in to a power source (like the computer directly, or a reader that doesn't require as much power to operate it).

This should help, if so, please mark as FixYa!

ThankYa!
