Phone says there is no sim card but its installed.

That depends upon the device. In general, sim cards are located beneath the batteries. Your user manual might assist. If not, google the brand and model and "how to install a sim card in a..." and see what pops us. Here is a YouTube video of sim card installation in a specific phone:

Bend the paperclip so one side is pointed out.

Press the small indent on the SIM cover at the bottom of the phone.

This causes the SIM tray to pop out.

Place the SIM card in the tray with the writing facing up.

Insert the tray back into the phone and wait for the phone to reboot.

Verizon Wireless uses CDMA technology, which does not use SIM cards; account information is stored directly on the phone, and can not be changed or switched out as simply as a SIM card.

Try to reinstall you sim card.
If this does not work, install you sim card back into the new phone.
If the sim card works in your new phone.
The sim card is not defective.
Your a107 may not be working correctly.

You could try to remove your sim card.
Install battery and turn on phone without sim card.
Use phone without sim card and do some operations.
This will check if you phone is working correctly.
Turn phone off and install sim card.
Made sure sim card is install correctly.

To install your sim card.

1. Open the battery cover of the phone,
2. Remove the battery of the phone,
3. then you install the sim card in the direction that is shown on the silver panel under the battery.
4. Reverse the process to cover the phone back, but do not uninstall the sim card.

Same thing happened to me. This happens when the phone does not get reception. When that happens the phone goes into no service and says "sim card not installed". The solution is to take out the sim card from your iphone put it in another phone and make a phone call. Then take the sim card out and put it back in the iphone and make a call. At first you will see it will still say no service, but when it says calling you will see that after a while (6 or 7 seconds) the bars come up and it will display your carrier name.
