My washing machine white point wpw542 continues blinking red light in the play botton and won't work.

SOURCE: light of a red tap

This is indicating a problem with the water supply, check the inlet hose/s for a restriction or kink in the hose/s.
Make sure the tap/s are fully turned on, and that there is a good water prerssure.

Those machines with a will of their own can be difficult to handle.
Ask the electician if there could be something wrong while spinning.

SOURCE: Maytag Washer Lid lock light

Its normal for the machine to cycle the lock before starting its cycle. I'm assuming your machine is a bravos style.
