Base Station Battery Installation
·Remove the printed vinyl label from the LCD screen of the base station
·Position the remote sensor near the base station
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the base station and insert (2) AA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the battery compartment cover.
·Within a short time the RF signal icon (located to the left of the outdoor temperature channel indicator) will start flashing. This indicates that the base station is ready to pick up the RF outdoor temperature signal from the remote sensor. It will continue to flash for 3 minutes or until the signal from the remote sensor is detected.
Register the Remote Sensor
·Open the battery compartment at the back of the remote sensor and slide the channel selector switch to your desired channel. For the first remote you may select any channel, for additional remotes select any unused channel
·Insert (2) AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Be sure to install the batteries in the remote within the time that the RF signal icon is flashing on the base station. 1541 WeatherGuide Wireless Weather Forecaster with Barometer
Are you SURE the floor temp sensor is wired correctly Page 8 of the Manual ???? It should be across 1 and 2 . if it was on the number 2 and 3 connections, this would simulate a 'remote switch' check the wiring of the floor sensor carefully in the back of the unit.
Something odd about the 'Vacation'mode' setting. You said it has no remote switch but only this 'remote switch' can disable it. by going open circuit. which sounds suspiciously like something is across pins 2 and 3
the remote may havce bad battery connections? bad battries? be locked off? remove and replace battries. locate program switch on wall stat. temp set to energy saving mode. set out of temp set up-back mode to run in on-off-on mode non occupied

I am having some trouble! Mine became unconnected and I don't know how to reconnect. There is two wire, red and white, a box that sits inside the fireplace that has an on/off sitch and a box that sits outside the fireplace with a off/remore/on switch. How do I connect it back? Please help!
Seems like the remote doesn't work. Change the batteries. Verify the switch settings in the battery compartment match the setting of the switches on the very top of the fan itself.
first be sure you are getting a good flow of cold as far as the washer connection..if so ck inside washer connection for a small wire screen be sure it's not plugged if so clean and flish line to remove anything inside hose ..be sure to put screen back in ..if still no cold suspect bad cold section of valve..replace valve..last remote possibility temp switch is bad
My sony HD TV started automatically flipping to the memory stick screen by itself. I thought maybe the remote was malfunctioning so I took the batteries out of the tv's remote as well as the cable boxes remote. Still does it. If I hit the memory stick button on the remote to switch off the screen sometimes it goes back to TV screen and sometimes it doesn't. Eventually, it flips back to the memory stick screen. Is this a known problem for this TV?
your problem in system control section
check aft &tuning ckt &its voltages
check for loose contact in above ckt
check tuner
thanks
