If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

MY VIZIO 37 INCH TV

I think you may have the same thing going on that we had happen several times, I think its stuck in RGB mode. Go to the TV itself, and turn it on manually. As SOON as you turn it on, hold the input button on the side of the TV for 30 seconds. This should get it back to the normal TV mode. We got this fix from Vizio ppl.

I have a 19" Sylvania

Hello! This can be frustrating to watch!! To change the format on your DISH remote, all that you need to do is press the * button below the number 7 on the keypad. This will change the format for the TV so that you find the one that suits you best. The best that I have found is Zoom. I hope this help!

My TV randomly gets a blue screen with a no signal message. Exactly like the TV was turned on without my Dish Network box turned on. I thought the Dish box was going out so I replaced it. It still did the...

That can certainly be a frustrating issue!! Because you have already replaced the box, and you are getting the same thing, it is not a receiver issue. If you are able to temporarily get the TV to stay ona fter you turn it off and then back on, it could be a TV issue.
If your receiver and TV are plugged into a surge protector, try plugging them directly to the wall. Another cause of this issue could be your grounding for the DISH Network system, meaning that a tech may need to come out and inspect that. Feel free to send me an email if you continue to have issues!

Want to Know if my TV is a DTV

it most probably is DTV ready, try googeling some on the subject, but since its a LCD tv from 2006 its most likely to made with a digital tuner. Note : if you have cable or satelite ( dish networks, Direct Tv and so on ) you are allready watching digital TV and do not need a converter box.
