Sorry I don't know the model number. The lcd panel lights up when turned on and I can set it for the standard normal load by hitting start. But there are no images on the screen, I don't want to buy a new machine that just needs one little thing fixed. I could just run it blindly from memory with the manual for diff. cycles. But it would be much easier if I could just kick it and make the screen work again :) Anyone else have this problem/solution? Thanks

if you hear clicks then I'd have to say it was a mechanical timer. the timer has a small motor on it. a complete timer including its motor will run you about $120 but a replacement timer motor will be about $35.00

i think you can fix it , does it stops when it reaches RINSE cycle ?? if yes , your gonna open the front panel or back panel so you can see inside machine . follow the DRAIN HOSE thats attached to SMALL DRAIN PUMP MOTOR , YOU NEED TO TAKE OUT and check for anything thats blocking the impellers and causing it to stop ( pins , buttons , etc ) let me know by your smile . . . . . .

This worked for me for the E3 error code: Turn the machine off and then on. Enter the Service Mode by pressing the Chime and Exrta Rinse keys for 3 sec. Display the Diagnostic Codes by pressing the Rinse and Spin key. Clear the codes by pressing the Delay and Chime keys for 3 sec. Turn the machine off, unplug and plug in the power cord. This dumps the memory. Evidently, if it gets full, it causes problems with the programming and messes up the cycles.
