What is the website address for ONN electronics?

I need to purchase a 12V adapter directly from ONN for my ONN transmitter which has a 3V input jack and accepts a 3.5 mm dia. pin from my TV. The transmitter also uses AAA rechargeable batteries and I am tired of charging them every few days. I have tried other adapter manufacturers, but there is a lot of static.

Why is my transmitter flashing white to blue

  • Check that the transmitter AC power adapter is fully inserted into the wall outlet and the power cord from the AC adapter is firmly connected to the transmitter power input jack.
  • If you're using the speaker power adapter, confirm that it's fully inserted into a wall outlet and the adapter power cord is firmly connected to the power input jack on the speaker.
  • If you're using batteries for the speaker, check that they are fresh and inserted with correct polarity (+, -).
  • confirm that the speaker is in 900MHz wireless mode-the indicator light on the front of the speaker should be either fl ashing or solid green. If the indicator light is blue, press the ON-OFF / RF-BT button on the back of the speaker to switch to 900MHz mode.
  • confirm that the speaker is turned on and tuned to the transmitter-the indicator light on the front of the speaker should be solid green (not blinking).
  • Check that the audio source component (stereo, MP3 player, etc.) is turned on and transmitting sound as it normally should.

Where can I get a replacement power cord?

I think you mean a power transformer. The power requirements for your device is embossed near the power input jack. Usually 3v, 6v, 9v, or 12volt. You can usually find a variable or universal power adapter that has a variety of different input plugs and a switch that adjusts voltage to what you might need. You can find them in electronic stores, ebay, amazon, flea markets, or photo accessory areas in department stores. Some toy departments too.

What are connections and connectors for audio output to wireless headset

Hi Richard,

First, you'll need to determine which type of input(s) the wireless headset transmitter has. Most common is the 3.5mm stereo plug designed to slip into the headphone jack of a TV, MP3 player, cell phone, etc. Some transmitters have adapters in the box to allow connecting to the Left and Right channel RCA / phono style jacks found on other components such as CD, DVD, VCR, Stereo receivers / amplifiers, etc.

You'll need to find OUTPUTS of the CD and TV that match the plug on the wireless headset transmitter. If yours doesn't include adapters to go from say the RCA jacks mentioned above - to whatever connector that the transmitter input has - you'll need to go to your local Radio Shack store or similar store to see if they can provide an adapter that will allow you to connect.

Here are a couple plugs / adapters:

Above: A "3.5mm stereo patch cable". Your transmitter may have a cable with an end like this to plug into the TV's headphone jack.

These cables / adapters are typically $5 to $10 maximum.

I hope this helps and good luck!

How to I use the stock radio amp to run an ipod?

Hi,
You can use any of the following methods
  1. Connecting the iPod via headphone jack
All you need is a simple Y cable, which is available from any home-electronics store. Connect the small plug to the headphone output of your iPod--or any portable audio player. Then connect the red and white RCA-style plugs to the matching inputs on the back of your stereo receiver or boombox.

  2. Connecting the iPod via iPod dock
To connect using the iPod dock, you first need to purchase an iPod dock accessory. Using the same type of Y cable, connect the small plug to the matching jack on the rear of the iPod dock. Then, plug the red and white RCA-style plugs to the matching inputs on the back of your stereo receiver or boombox. This method provides a line-level connection that maintains a volume level to your stereo system and allows the iPod to recharge.

  3. Connecting the iPod via wireless FM transmitter
You can also connect your iPod to your stereo wirelessly. You'll need to purchase a compatible wireless FM transmitter--there are several available--and connect it your iPod. Once your transmitter is connected, simply tune any nearby radio to the correct frequency, and you'll be listening to your own iPod-powered mini radio station.

What voltage is the dc adapter?

You will need at least a 4 amp rated regulated 12 Volt power supply.
These are commercialy available from most electronics parts suppliers.
They come on a circuit board. You can mount it in your own case and
use the original Viewsonic wire end. If you do a google search for 12
volt reglated power supplies you should find many of these.

However, with a second-hand Sprint AC adapter with 3A,
12v adapter, the screen blinks on and off
intermittently. Obviously there is some difference here between a class
2 adapter and a power supply box.
