  • Some devices also have their own reset button hidden right where the USB ports and power-button are.
This is how you know..
  • It can be small hole like a microphone's one and you need to press deep inside with a pointy object like a needle.
OR
  • It can be done form inside the OS. Just go to settings and select factory reset.

    Follow this one...
  1. Hold down the volume down button and power button on the tablet
  2. Release power button when Samsung image is shown, keep on holding the volume down button
  3. Release volume down button when two icons are shown
  4. Use the volume down button to navigate the icons
  5. Highlight the left icon (envelope or box)
  6. Press the volume up button to select it and boot into recovery mode.

There you've it.

If it's an Android device try pushing and holding the power button and the volume(-) button down. Hold them down for what seems like a long time. You might have to wait through the Brand Logo screen but it will eventually go off and a blank screen will appear. Keep holding down both the power button and the volume minus button until you see some green lines of text and the Android robot.

Release both buttons when you see the text.

You can scroll to which line of text you want using the volume (+) button and select or engage it using the power button. If you're doing a factor reset/data wipe you might get another screen with a bunch of lines of *no no no no no* and one with a proceed option. If so, again use the Volume (+) button to scroll and the power button to select.

How do i reset a kurio 4S

You can perform a factory reset by holding the volume + button and power button at the same time. Release the power button after 5 seconds but keep holding the volume + button until a screen appears with options. Use the volume + button to scroll down to factory reset and then press the power button to select it. Next you will have to scroll down using the Volume + button again to highlight yes and press the power button to select. Once the reset is finished, you have to set up the tablet again, but at least it works. Hope this helps.
