Is it possible that the error code is missing characters?
According to my research 8 is not a valid error code. The number 8 is more like
a temperature setting, however to be certain, let's try resetting the appliance.
It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn the unit on. Set the
correct temperature and please allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
The error code should clear and the unit resume to normal operations. I ask
