1. We have a voicemail message for an unanswered call on each extension, but if the line is busy on one of these it goes to an old greeting by a former colleague, how do we change it!

Problem 2. On the main line, although when I press 500 to retrieve voice messages I can hear the greeting I recorded, if the phone rings unanswered it diverts to another phone, and if that is unanswered it goes to another old recorded message by a previous member of staff. So I think the newest greeting I recorded doesn't actually get heard at all. We can't find out how to solve this and I'm afraid the manual has been of no help whatsoever

SOURCE: Message Greeting

The KX-T7456 is a proprietary system phone. You have a Panasonic phone system and a voice mail, both separate items with their own part number. Your phone can work on several different systems and use different voice mail so your first step is to determine the part numbers from the system and voice mail. Then you will need a "programming" manual or possibly "administrator's manual" NOT a "user guide" for at least your voice mail and maybe for the system as well.

SOURCE: Telephone Panasonic KX-T7730. Taken

Let's pretend that this is a TA-824 system with DISA and it's answering all phone calls. It's not likely that you can do much of anything unless you know what system the phone is connected to and have the manual and ability to do programming. With a bit of reprogramming, you can make the system perform like a regular system.

I'd suggest a call to the Panasonic service company.

Our school has a Siemens 500 OptiPoint 500 advance phone that has a greeting one. Can't find out in any of the manuals as to how I can go about changing it. Can anyone out there help me?

We always programme the voicemail to 555. If you have something different change what is below, which is our 'one sheet' user guide from www.dschiltern.co.uk

All Types of Phones

1. Your mailbox number will be the same as your extension number.

2. Default password is 1 2 3 4

3. Voicemail group number is 555 (unless programmed differently)

Before callers can leave voicemail messages you must activate your mailbox and record your greeting message. We would suggest something along the lines of

"You are through to the voicemail of . . . . I am sorry I am unable to take your call at the moment but please leave a message after the tone and I shall get back to you "

To Record Your Greeting Message

1. Dial the voicemail group number (usually 555)

2. Enter your password (default is 1234)

3. Keep pressing 3 to scroll to greeting messages

4. Press 8 to toggle between your two greeting messages

5. Press 0 to change the message and follow the instructions.

To leave voicemail just press 'Release' or hang up.

Responding to Voicemail

On a display phone you will see "You have messages" on the top line and "Display messages?" on the bottom line. Press tick twice to go to voicemail and then enter your password.

On Siemens 'Entry' phone or display phones with a 'voicemail' button, just press this button and enter password when asked.

On ordinary analogue phones you will get broken dial tone. Dial the voicemail group number (usually 555) and enter password.

In all cases you will then be able to listen to your messages.

To delete a message press 0. It will ask you to confirm by pressing 0 again.

When the Norstar m7324 phone is set to night mode after business hours, the caller goes direct to voicemail when the caller dials an extension. How do I change it so that it rings at the extension a f

Night service will only control if AA to answer (main greeting) or human, you!.
If people enter extension and it goes straight to vmail then the user invoked that option (Feature 987) which is what you should do when you leave your office.

Forgot unlock code voicemail kyocera jax

Go to this link...
http://www.virginmobileusa.com/resources/phones/prepaid/manual/kyocera-aw-jax.pdf

DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!! LOL
Scroll down to page #39 to where it says Use Voicemail and follow the instructions!! As per the service tech I spoke to on the phone to find this link, following these instructions will automatically erase your old voicemail unlock code as well as any as yet unheard messages.

Just in case anyone still has difficulty in finding the instructions.....

Set Up your VoicemailBefore your phone can receive voicemail messages, you must set up a 4-10 digit passcode and record a personal voicemail greeting. When you have set up your voicemail, all unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off.1. Press and hold the 1 key.2. Follow the system prompts to create a password and record a greeting.
Check your Voicemail

When you receive a voicemail message, a
notification with a voicemail message icon
appears at the top of your screen.
• At the voicemail notification, select Call to call
your voicemail number and follow the system
prompts to retrieve the message.
Select Ignore to clear the notification without
checking messages. The notification icon
remains on top of the screen until you listen to
the message
• When only the voicemail message icon
appears on top of the screen, select
Voicemailand follow the system prompts
to retrieve the message.
Best of luck!!

Hi there, my business uses Panasonic KX-T7431 Digital Super Hybrid System and we have several lines. when nobody is available to take the call it goes directly to a company message stating are names...

The introduction message is usually setup as a custom service menu. You need to determine if this is the case by logging into the message managers mailbox and listening to find the current greeting. To log into the message manager mailbox, call voicemail, dial #6 then *98(for 2 digit mailboxes) or *998(for 3 digit mailboxes) or *9998(for 4 digit mailboxes), enter password followed by #. Once in the message managers mailbox, press 5 to record messages. Your introduction message could be the company greeting or a custom service menu. Press 1 for the company greeting and follow the prompts to listen to the greeting. Press 3 for the custom service menu, then enter the custom service number 1-100( in your case start with 1 until you find the current introduction message) and follow the prompts to listen to the message. Once you have found the current introduction message record your new message and save.

Lucent Parther 18 greeting question:

Well, which voicemail do you have?

The answers willbe more clear if we know that.

It is possible that the old greeting is a different AA number. Some voicemails can have up to 4 AA's.

Best way is to dial in and go through all AA greetings, both day and night for AA1-4. Listen to the recordings and find the one you need.

AVAYA PARTNER ACS PHONE SYSTEM

Yes it can. Depending on the type of voice mail attached to your system you can both have the lines answered with a seperate main greeting (partner messaging can do this) or answered by a seperate mailbox (all partner voice mails).

AVAYA PARTNER ACS PHONE SYSTEM - Voicemail/Greeting capability

Yes you can have the 2 lines answered by a particular mailbox instead of the AA greeting.
Would need to know the model of the voicemail system that is installed to see if there are more than 1 AA menus.

Once you figure out what voicemail this is, you will need to go into Voicemail Admin Programming to re-initialize the password for an extension.

Voice message, reprogramming extensions

How did you program the voicemail so a caller can not leave a voicemail to a particular extension? Line ownership? SO a call goes directly to a milbox?

How can you reprogram the voice message????? Which one, for a particular user or the main Auto attendant greeting????

You have to know the admin login to change a mailbox password.

For that, you need to know which voicemail system this is.
When you log in to check your mail, the lady says, "welcome to Partner......"

Please fill in the blanks.
