You would have to follow the wires and look for somewhere where they pass through metal grommets or close to bodywork. Only a factory wiring diagram would show the routing and terminations.
Look at the wiring color codes and their purpose in the Briggs manual, Compare to the wiring color codes and purpose for the Kohler engine in manual, connect accordingly.
If there is not a wiribg diagram on the back of the stock radio, open the radio up by taking the top case off and a wiring diaggram should be on one of the inside panels of the radio to give you the color codes.
I have a Ford LGT with a 14 hp Kohler K321AS engine. Go to Kohler.com and download the service manual for the K321 engine. The manual covers all of the K type engines and gives diagrams and details of all the different types of ignition and electrical systems. It is free.

i have no wiring loom on my kawasaki kdx 125 i belive its a 1999-2000 reg it has upside down forks if thats a help. all i want is a spark as it will be a traker. can anyone help???????
Go to http://manuals.mtdproducts.com/mtd/public/list.jsp?BrandCode=10051 Type in your model no. and serial no on mower. Locate correct manual, you will then have to trace wires on both motors and make them correspond.
