My blue tooth will not hold a charge

try to turn on BT on iPad while Logitech is blinking (which means it in pairing mode and can be discovered). If that doesn't help I'd suggest to remove batteries from Logitech for 3-5 minutes then put them back.

your blue tooth device is in discovery mode you must pair it with your phone again,it just you held the power button down to long turning it on ,most blue tooth manufactures use the power button for the discovery mode,in case you don't have the pairing pin code again most blue toooth manufactures use a 4 digit factory code,they are as follows 0000,1234,1111 or 9999 i hope this helps.And if your blue tooth drained the battery and you need to charge it before you proceed ,to put it into discovery mode hold the power button down for 6 to 10 seconds when turning your blue tooth device on.i hope this helps

flashing purple after you hold it for 3 seconds is discovery mode. blue flashing is active on. hold for 6 seconds to turn off. hold for 2 seconds to turn on.

first question,i have anplantronics explorer 242 when i plug it iun to charge it the light ired then after a few min. it turns blue,how do i know when its fully charged? will the lights go off?

Be sure to charge your headset for atleast 15-25 minutes minimum to get a starting charge. This will also give you 15-30 minutes of talk time to test out your headset and placement, and also get used to being a part of the bluetooth generation.

Once charged, press the call button(the big button on the side) and hold it down until you see a flashing red/blue combination of lights, now you only have 2 minutes to set this up, or you have to start over.

Once the lights are flashing on the headset, it is searching for a phone, now you go to your phone, and find your options for connectivity or bluetooth, once in your menu, look for the option to search or connect to a blue tooth device. Let it search/connect automatically.

Once it is connected, the flashing lights on your headset should stop, finish the connect process on your phone, if it says found it, install it, entering device data, etc etc, follow everything it says by entering YES, hitting OK, or CONTINUE.

Once it says CODE or PASSWORD to enter for your bluetooth device, enter 0000 .Which is ZERO ZERO ZERO ZERO and then press enter.

It should take 2-10 seconds for the password to initiate, record into your phone, and pair your device. This is a detailed explanation. Please rate me for my effort.

after it holds a steady charge, try holding the power button for a few seconds. if you get a blue light (blinking or solid) then its on, obviously. holding most power buttons on bluetooth devices will put them into pairing mode, as soon as you get a solid light, you can connect it to your phone...and if you just bought the headset, you should have an instruction manual. it will tell you in there how to make it work
