These machines are designed to use only Nespresso capsules. The UMilk, particularly, is susceptible to jamming if so-called "compatible" capsules are used, as the capsule is pierced electroncally, not manually as in most of the Nespresso range of machines.
Hope this helps, Rob.

Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine, the water in the dispenser leaks out of the machine, and no coffee comes out of the coffee pod

Here are some possible reasons why the water in your Lavazza Jolie Pod Coffee Machine leaks out of the machine and no coffee comes out of the coffee pod:
  • The water tank is not filled properly. Make sure that the water tank is filled to the correct level. The water level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the water tank.
  • The coffee pod is not inserted properly. Make sure that the coffee pod is inserted into the machine properly. The coffee pod should be inserted all the way into the machine until it clicks into place.
  • The coffee pod is clogged. If the coffee pod is clogged, the water will not be able to flow through the pod and into the cup. Try using a different coffee pod or try cleaning the coffee pod.
  • The machine is not descaled properly. If the machine is not descaled regularly, it can build up calcium deposits, which can prevent the water from flowing through the machine properly. Try descaling the machine with a descaling solution.
  • The machine is defective. If you have checked all of the above and the problem persists, then the machine may be defective. In this case, you will need to contact Lavazza customer support for further assistance.
Here are some additional tips that might help:
  • Use fresh, cold water. Stale or warm water can affect the taste of the coffee.
  • Use a good quality coffee. Cheap coffee beans can make the coffee taste bitter.
  • Grind the coffee beans to a medium-coarse grind. A too fine grind can make the coffee taste bitter, while a too coarse grind can make the coffee taste weak.
  • Clean the coffee machine regularly. A dirty coffee machine can make the coffee taste bitter.
I hope this helps!

What are coffee pods? Someone told me to use them in my coffee machine?

Some coffee machines have the option to either use ground coffee and filters or coffee pods. These are small, sealed containers that have the ground coffee inside. You insert the pods into the machine and click them into place. The machine pierces a hole and the water drips through. It's a much tidier way to make coffee especially if you don't drink a lot of it, so you don't want a whole jug full, rather just one cup at a time.

Water is not being push through the pod. The water goes through just fine when there is no pod. Seems like a pump is not forcing water through.

When you insert a pod there is a sharp pin like piece of plastic that punctures the pod to allow water to flow into it. Right next to that puncture-pin there is one or more little tubes where the water is pushed out of. Take a paper clip and shove it up there and move it around to unclog it. There are most likely coffee grinds stuck up there. You should put a paperclip up there to loosen the grinds/unclog it and then run it without a pod. You may need to do this a few times but you should notice coffee grinds passing through into the cup with the hot water even when you run it without a pod for a few times. You will notice the water coming out faster and stronger; now you can use it as your normally would.

If this solution is helpful please rate/vote for me.

Thank you.

Capsules jammed fault 72

I pulled out the pod carousel, and reached by finger over the capsule tray hole. In there was a stuck pod. Once I go that out, I power cycled the machine and all was well.

Senseo stuck after using coffee pods that have "milk" built in....5 days later

I had the same problem. I waited for a while as the instruction says but didn't open. But, I got it open!!! by turning and slightly pulling a small plug behind the water tank on the backside. (remove the water tank then you'll see the little plug. see attached photos) I think it will let air in and vacuum seal get released. After it opened, I gently turned the plug back and push it in as it was. Now, it is running perfectly again. I just had a great coffee. :-)
