Ah. One of the things that sucks about notebooks. They use on-board graphics and don't have slots for any add-in adapters for video display. Sorry, you're just out of lock on that one.

If you can find one try a Dell CPx docking station - these have a PCI slot so you can use something like a GeForce 7 or a Radeon 9000 series card. Mine has a Matrox dualhead workstation card out of my old Sun box.

I just installed SIMS 3, and it keeps freezing up and crashing. Is my ATI Radeon X600 the problem?

The card is most likely NOt the problem, best thing to do is upgrade the Graphics drivers and other drivers... If that doesnt work...
Check to make sure the Ram is sufficient,
I believe it would be the problem if its a older card, and Sims 3 is a high Polygon game. and Alot of radeon cards Get old quick.. if You really want to play sims 3 Upgrade your Video Card If your running a Crossfire Mother board (Ati only) Buy one of the new Ati cards 4890 i believe is the newest one, Its a great card
If your running a Full compatibility board buy one of the new Nvidia's But before you buy make sure your Computer Supports it :)

Cant utilize extended monitor function in XP w/ onboard chipset as other VGA out

You cannot use both the onboard video and a separate card at the same time. Are you trying to use multiple monitors? Your video card must support that if you are, and the Radeon 7500 does not mention that it does. If it does, the ATI Catalyst drivers will have the option.

Will intel D101GGC support ATI Radeon 8500?

yes, before you buy video card

verify first the interface slot available on *********** board (AGP,PCI or PCI Express)

verify the video cards driver if compatible to your operating system

Please i am having Gateway Laptop 600 ygr with graphic card ATI Radeon 7500. I want to improve its 3d performance by running grahics more than 64MB or improving with acceleratedx. Thanks frank

Unfortunately with this model laptop the graphics card is not upgradeable. If you are attempting to do 3D graphics you will want a higher end laptop with a higher end processor and video card. For high end laptops that will perform much better for this use I would check out http://www.alienware.com/ for their line of higher end laptops.
