Why are my eBay bucks not being applied to purchases I make?

eBay changed their eBay Bucks program last year making it require a $5 minimum eBay Bucks balance in 3 months time (per quarter) in order to use them. April, May & June eBay Bucks will only be redeemable in July for 30 days. Here's the link to read the new rules.

To start earning eBay Bucks, sign up for the program, and then shop on eBay just as you do today. Once enrolled, you automatically earn a percentage of the item price of your qualifying purchases in the form of eBay Bucks. When you earn $5.00 or more in eBay Bucks in a calendar quarter (every 3 months), they will send you an eBay Bucks Certificate after the quarter ends. Once they issue your eBay Bucks Certificate, you have 30 days to use it.

You need to ensure your email settings are correct on ebay along with your email address. Go to My eBay then your account then email and notifications, ensure they are also turned on.

You can dispute this on eBay. Ebay is big on protecting buyers.

Hi there! you don't have to worry about this. just send a quick message to the seller and tell them to file a cancel transaction case for you. they will send you a cancellation of transaction request. you will receive an email then you just to AGREE on the cancel transaction request. then that's it :)

I believe you are referring to eBay Bucks points. You will need to enroll first to the program so that you can start earning bucks. Here's how you can enroll:

To enroll in eBay Bucks:

1. Go to:

2. Click "I agree, start earning."
   
   
3. On the confirmation page that appears, click "Sign up for PayPal" or "Already have a PayPal account?"
   
   Then look for the eBay Bucks icon on items, shop like you already do, and pay for your purchases with PayPal. Most eBay items are eligible with a few exceptions, such as real estate and vehicles. We'll track how many eBay Bucks you earn. Each eBay Buck represents a dollar that you can spend. Most of all, please make sure to user eBay Checkout to earn bucks. Refunded items means you will lose thep points for that item.

the seller will mark it as despatched but you dont get an email unless the seller wants to send you one. Look in your summary to the left hand top and then click won/purchased in that menu there are little icons such as a $ or £, a parcel shape and a few others, if they are highlighted or coloured then the item has been shipped, if you hover over it with the mouse pointer it will tell you the date it was sent

there are no ebay agents who collect money or hold the money for the buyers. if you found this item outside ebay, most probably craigslist and the seller will tell you about vehicle protection program and ebay agents getting the money, this is a scam. the vehicle protection program only works if you purchase the item directly from the ebay site using your ebay account. you need to have the 12 digit item number to verify if the item is a legit item from ebay. if you received emails from the seller outside the ebay messaging system, it is best to forward those to the investigation team of ebay so that they can check it for you. you can forward those emails to [email protected] and please do not send payment yet. if the seller will also tells you that the item is in an ebay warehouse, you need to back off and cancel this transaction immediately and do not provide any informationl. there is NO ebay warehouse and ebay agents are not allowed to get payments from the buyers..
