If you are talking about the bulb that supplies gas to the carb prior to starting..Take a look at the small plastic or rubber hoses attached to it..sometimes they developed small cracks I them not allowing the suction needed to draw gas from the tank to the carb..happened to my blower took care if the problem..they all work on the same principle...good luck.

Replacing the gas lines form the gas tank and the line to the bulb
on my husqvarna 125b the fuel line in the tank with the filter connects to the bottom of the carb. the other line coming out from the tank connects to the bottom port on the bulb. the line from the top port of the bulb connects to the top of carb. hope this will help.

I have a Craftsman Weedwacker 25cc 358.791030 that won't start. Primer bulb is not getting gas. Gas line is connected to the filter resting at the bottom of the gas tank. The line for the primer bulb...
that line should be longer, it contains the filter which is the pick up, and should rest inside the tank fully,, see if its possible to pull that line farther into the tank, its not going to start until the primer bulb fills

Model 2175 poulan - pump up primer bulb and it colapses. When i put fuel in head it runs till gone..
Change out the primer bulb and the small gas lines going to carb and primer. One of these has a small crack to let air get by and this is how you get a flat primer bulb. Pick the kit up at lowes for $6-8.

Replaced primer bulb and gas lines will not prime or start
Sounds like you have the lines connected incorrectly. Make sure that the bottom of the carb is connected to the inlet side of the primer (take the lines off and with one of the ports covered with your finger push the bulb, if it collapses and doesn't return then that's the suction/inlet of the bulb). The other side of the bulb needs to be connected to the gas tank. The other side of the carb needs to go to the filter side of the gas tank.

My gas lines cracked and i do not no where they go and i dont no how i go about troubleshooting it
  1. The line from the tank with the fuel filter goes to the bottom port of carb.
  2. The top port on the carb goes to the suction port of primer bulb (To tell which port is the suction port put your finger on one port and push bulb if the bulb collapses and doesn't return then that is the suction side).
  3. The outlet port of the bulb goes to the non-filter side of the fuel tank.

Problem with primer bulb
Reverse the line connections at the primer bulb. Look carefully, the long port has the line going to the tank, the short port on the bulb will connect with the fuel line to the carb.

GAS LINE PROBLEM
Hi this is the way it should go: 1 from the filter in the tank to the bottom of the carby,2 from the top of the carby to the inlet on the primer,3 from the outlet on the primer back to the tank as this is the return line nothing goes onto it.

Gas does not go through the primer bulb, so no gas to primer and get started. Pumping Bulb puts air pressure in the gas tank. Gas appears to be flowing to the carb in the other lines. Bulb will not fill...
