My psp arrow keys are not working - Sony PSP-3000 Black Console

You need to take apart the PSP to fix the buttons. The rubber under them is misplaced or bunched or missing. To open the PSP, you ARE going to VOID your warranty if you have one. To open it there are 4 screws on the back of the PSP. 3 are easily found and the last one is in the battery compartment under the stick that reads something about if you peel the sticker you will void your warranty. There is the last screw. From there, after all the screws are out, the front of the PSP should pop off and you can clean it and adjust the buttons and fix anything you need. Hope this works for you.

Does the memory stick work with other games. Did you remove the memory stick and format in windows?.Maybe you formatted using the NTFS file system if formatted in windows.Format the memory stick again in windows to FAT32 and it should work.

You can format any size Memory Stick Duo in the Sony PSP by doing this:

1. Push the little HOME button on the bottom left of the face of the unit.
2. Use the arrow keys to move to the SETTINGS area, then move the up and down keys until you get to System Settings.
3. Once you are there, click on the "X" button and scroll up and down as needed to find Format Memory Stick. Click on "X" again to select that option.
4. The Sony PSP will now confirm that you want to reformat the memory stick (which removes every file and game save thereon, of course): choose yes and it'll format in just a few seconds.

Now you have a pristine new Memory Stick to work with and should have no problems with music, photos or other material you might seek to copy onto your PSP.

if u r psp is nodded than press select button once and u get a menu in that menu u get 4th or 5th place right side m33 driver got to that and use u r arrow key of psp to change it for umd press select again UMD will run

take out battery restart

juz go to the shop where u buy the psp or camera shop n tell them the prob..
they'll take cre of it

u probably have sticky stuff and dirt in the directional pad, try this:take the battery out, make sure the power is off, pour a little alcohol in the the crack of the directional pad, then press the directional pad in the different directions to loosen it up, finally let the psp sit for a few hours til the alcohol dries (or blow in it) that sould loosen everything up, if that does not work you will have to open the unit and clean the pad thorougly... try to tighten ur psp screws a little bit tighter and if it dont work by a replacement kit for it

well my psp right arrow dosnt work is there another way I cant fix this ?

get a new cover or if your psp is normal size you may have the slim psp cover or the other way round.
