SOURCE: setting time on casio illuminator watch

Here is how you do it:

Looking at your watch face: the upper left button is A, upper right is B, lower left is C and lower right is D.

Get your watch into "Hand Setting mode" That is the mode witht he digital time and seconds above it.
From Day and Date window it would mean pushing button "C" six times to get to that mode.

Once in "Hand Setting Mode"
Hold down button "A" til time blinks, then press button "D" to advance the hands, to the desired time.

Press "A" to exit mode.

Press "C" to return to timekeeping mode.

I replaced my battery in my fossil blue watch and it still does not work

If your watch is equipped with an illuminated (pushbutton) dial, it may have two batteries as does mine. One is easy to access, the other that supplies power to the movement requires removing the works to replace it. They chose this arrangement because the illumination requires more often replacement than the one used for the movement.

I have a timex HRM. The indigo light just stopped working. I've had it for 3 weeks. There is a faint light on the edge, but it doesn't illuminate the face. Everything else works normal. Any ideas?

Check out if your watch has second battery for Indiglo function. It is quite common for Timex watches to have two batteries - one for movement and another for Indiglo.

I've changed my battery on my casio g-shock dw 003 but the illuminator no longer works! why?

Did the same with my DW-003 and thought I'd broken the Illuminator (and the alarm didn't work). Next battery change was via a shop and the illuminator worked again (as did the alarm). This was just a battery cahnge, rather than a repair job - One of those things, I guess

I have replaced the battery, but it didn't work. I've tried to reset the watch, but it didn't work. What have I to do to reset the WV-57H after a battery replacement?

If your watch has any kind of illuminated dial or dial light, you may have found the battery for that instead of the one powering the watch itself. I have one similar and did that same thing only to find that the watch still wouldn't run.  The battery that powers the illumination is larger and in my watch, the battery for the watch portion is half the size and located below and to the side of the other cell.
