You need a new battery. I could describe how to rebuild the old one if you are so inclined to do that type of thing. It would save you some money over buying a new one. It looks like it is a specialized piece of cleaning equipment and buying a replacement battery would be fairly expensive.

Why does navigator freestyle shark vacuum light blink even after charged?

I have had 2 Shark Cordless Freestyle vacuums. The first one, when it was fully charged, the blue light would glow softly. The newest one has a flashing blue light that you can see from outer space. Light is supposed to keep flashing even when it is fully charged. Very annoyed that they changed this feature.

Why does roomba keep docking?

It needs to recharge every time it docks.

I would suggest that you let Roomba run out of the room where it's charger is. Then force it to run until it dies out. Then put it back onto it's charger.. I suspect that it's developed a memory (short) for charging and you need to force it to totally drain down, then charge for a good while. This should force it to develop a "Longer" memory. Works for me anyway.

Why roomba clean for 2 minutes then returns to dock?

I suspect the battery is about dead. It keeps coming back for more power.

Run it away from it's charger, force it to run until it dies. Put it onto it's charger and let it charge a long time (Solid green light). Then run it again till it dies and repeat. This will perhaps force the battery to develop a longer memory

How often should the vacuum be charged? After each use or wait until when it dies?

With modern batteries, there is no "memory effect" so it does not hurt the battery to keep it charged. The life of the battery will depend mostly on the total number of hours of use.

Hi, this is our third Dyson DC-16.. the Trigger was shorting out on the first two.. Now we have the third one for about a year.. on charge when not using it.. don't use it every day, but for quick pickups...

How are you charging your battery? Every battery has a memory. If you dont let it die the first come times then charge to full the battery will assume 40% is 100%.

Scooba not working after full recharge

NiCD and LiOn batteries have this tendency. They work great for a year, then slowly die off. The problem is you. When new, the device MUST be charged for 14hr nonstop, then every 2-3 months run dead, and recharged again 14hrs nonstop. This is done so the CPU of the Roomba (cool toy) KNOWS what DEAD is and what FULL is. It does this by measuring the amount of currrent flowing thru a very precise resistance. If you do hit and miss charge cycles of the roomba or leave it charging too long, it either develops a flase memory of the above two conditions, or gets HOT and the electrolyte paste dries out. Fix is to wear it out, charge 14hrs, wer it out againand repeat 3-4x. Then recharge and use. If that doesn't fix it, the batteries are too dried and need to be replaced.

Roomba Schedular

Let it charge for a full 24, or even 48 hours, regardless of the green light. If it still dies you probably need a new battery.. or worse.
