When you power on the Samsung and see the Samsung logo, pressing the F2 key should allow you to go into the BIOS.

it is a samsung np270e5e-k02uk. that keeps coming up with an error message on boot up and keeps turning off to reboot. It was doing a windows 8 update and the screen went black and my daughter thought it had finished doing the update and turned off, so she shut the laptop, and it has being doing this since she did that.

Per the internet site, it depends upon the model of laptop. Here are some examples:

My netbook keeps returning to start win normally

try to go to the BIOS setting by pressing F2 or del while in POST (exactly after you press the power button and the screen is on)
try to set the BIOS to it's default setting, save & exit, restart your computer
if it still doesn't work,go to BIOS again and look for something called "boot device priority". it usually placed in advanced settings
then set your hardisk as your 1st boot device. save&exit, restart

Toshiba portege r600 wont boot

Your BIOS settings may be wrong, or there may be a problem with the motherboard of the system.

I would check the BIOS settings on the laptop first.

When you first turn on the laptop - you might see something that says something like "Press F2 to enter Setup" or "Press Del to enter Bios" or "Press F1 to enter Setup" - or something along those lines. You will want to hit whichever key it is specifying and try to get into the BIOS/Setup.

Once you are in the BIOS, look for an option to restore defaults or reset factory settings. Do that and then save the changes and restart the computer.

If resetting the BIOS doesn't help, make sure that when you turn the computer on you are not plugged into a network cable at all.

If the system still gives the PXE error - then it is likely that something has gone wrong with your laptop motherboard. Unfortunately to get that fixed - you'll need to take it to a computer repair shop.

I hope that you can get the BIOS reset and it works for you though!

I can't see my Bios although i press f2 but still doesn't work out

Try "DEL", "ESC" or F12 depending on your computer it may be different than F2.
Pay close attention to the screen as it boots up, it will most likely state what key to press.
Timing is important too, try repeatedly pressing the key till the Bios shows up.
