Sole E55 console display flashing "Need Lube"

Got a Sole elliptical machine? Is it displaying a NEED LUBE error message when you turn it on? Tyler at Sole service told me this is a software bug. It appears every 180 miles of usage, and it was really only intended for treadmills, not ellipticals.
You can clean and lubricate the rails and wheels - and you should - but the error message won't go away. Instead, you can get rid of it by resetting the odometer. First, press and hold the Start, Enter, and Stop buttons for five seconds to enter engineering mode. Use the arrow keys to select FUNCTIONS, then select ODO RESET and press Enter. Turn the machine off and on again, and voila, no error message.
Thanks Tyler! Happy exercising!

I have a BH Fitness Inspirit Program Cross Trainer and about 20 seconds after I turn it on an E1 flashes on the screen. Can anyone help please ???? Thanks

the problem is there that for BH INSPIRIT cross trainer the machine uses a small part inside a complicated gear box that pulls the wire for the magnetic wheel at this gearbox there is a sensor that reads the state of the gearbox and send it back to the computer(display) if the sensor get some issue and its sends wrong data back it displays E1 error message so i recommend that you contact your dealer or supplier and ask them to send you that part and instructions how to open your elliptical cross trainer and replace it your self
in 95% it could be that one in the other 5% it could be the computer it self cant read correct the data
I am very sorry to hear that hope you can fix it

Hi i keep getting the E1 error message flash up on the sewing machine, it still sews but it keeps stopping and the E1 error message comes up, what exactly is wrong with it? can you he;lp? Thanks

E1 means that your machine thinks the thread has broken.

There's nothing you can do to fix this: it has to go to an authorised Singer Service Centre for diagnosis and repair. Usually it's a faulty thread sensor.

Error E1 mean?

Hi,
An E1 error message usually indicates that the thermistor (see the following link) is defective and needs to be replaced.

Monitor diplays E1 and won't stop beeping

Fitness Quest Eclipse 1175e Elliptical Trainers were recalled on December 11, 2007 for a fall hazard. During exercise, the foot pedal crank can break. After receiving 190 reports of the crank breaking, the company is offering a replacement product or credit toward other Fitness Quest products. If the pedal falls off, be sure to save it; you will need the right foot platform to claim the replacement or credit.
Owners should stop using the elliptical trainer immediately. Owners can receive a replacement with another Fitness Quest product or credit.

E1 errors are usually lubrication/resistance issues. Has the unit been oiled/greased recently?
