SOURCE: We have a Janome sew precise machine that we bought new about two

I had the same "problem" with my new machine. I called Janome's customer service and they told me the stitch length dial needs to be on S.S. I did that and it worked!

Please check the top tension as well and rethread. I had this problem and after doing the above, everything worked perfectly. Thanks.

SOURCE: My Janome 10000 stopped in

Janmore10000 Stopped Embroidering thenstopped everything just shutting off.
If it is getting no power at all, it is probably a fuse. Thefuse is located in a little black box underneath the base of the machine, butit is NOT an easy job to take the box out, disassemble it, replace the fuse, and then reassemble the whole machine. But in your comment you mentioned that there is power tothe machine that means its not fuse problem.

It stopped embroidering in the middle of a project. the handwheel would notmove at all this means that it wasthread jam. Also check the carriage carriage if it does not move to the rightor left and gor stuck in one position or hardly moving a bit then it is out of calibration.

if your machine is outof calibration it will need to recaliberate . Something is like forcing theneedle through a thread jam would cause this. This is not an expensive repair. But a time consuming repair. Its advisable to get it done by service center,

Can I somehow, either by machine or manually, place the needle on a Janome MC200E, where I need it to be on my embroidery pattern?

I am confused. Could you re-phrase your question?
Can you not just turn the flywheel, on the right, which lowers the needle, into your fabric, adjusting as you manually lower the needle?

My sewing machine seems to do the same stitch length if I set it on 1 or 4 it doesn't change. I also have to pull the fabric along as the machine does not move it, just sews in the same spot. The machine...

There are a couple of things that could cause this. Your feed dogs could be either low or worn down, so they are not biting into the fabric enough to move it. The presser foot pressure could be set at it's lowest setting and not pressing the fabric firmly against the feed dogs, thereby allowing the feed dogs to slip under the fabric without moving it. You could also have a lubrication issue or a broken part in the stitch length adjustment system. In any case it would probably be best to take it to a reputable sewing machine repair shop in your area for a tune up. That's a great idea anyway after buying any machine second hand.

How do you disinguage the needle, when fillling the bobbon?

On my MC200e the needle is disengaged automatically when I slide the bobbin winding spindle to the right.

Janome 350E suddenly stopped reading the USB stick. As soon as I select My Design it shuts down and restarts over and over again. What could be wrong?

Your space is not formatted correctly to the size of the hoop. For example if the hoop is 5x7 your design has to fit within that space, and the space cannot be bigger than 5x7. Strange but true and it will fix the reboot and shut down issue.

Bobbin wont spin

I had the same problem last night but was able to solved it by flipping the plastic bobbin over and re-seating it on the post. This time it clicked in and I was then able to get the post to spin. Good Luck!
