How to get Miele CM6360 benchtop coffee machine out of 'Clean milk pipework again' mode

I stumbled on what could be a solution. It worked for me.
The "Clean Milk Pipework" maintenance cycle expects 300mL of lukewarm water and a cleaning stick.
There is a step in the cleaning routine where the pump keeps going, even when the water dispenser is empty.
If there is too much water to start with in the dispenser, the routine cannot complete all its steps, and the machine gives the "Clean Pipework Again" message.
So the fix is rather simple. Start with 300mL of lukewarm liquid (and a cleaning stick if you like I guess, but I didn't use one) and follow all the steps to complete the maintenance routine.
It sounds like the Miele machines get absolutely locked into their cleaning routines, and you can't get control of the machine back until the routine runs to completion.
good luck.

What is the recipe of Indian kulfi?

Kulfi Recipe
  • Prep time: 5 min
  • Cook time: 90 min
  • Serves: 5

Main Ingredients:

  1. full fat milk
  2. sugar

Ingredients
  • Full fat milk - 1.25 lts
  • Powdered Sugar - 1/3 cup heaped
  • Cardamom - 4, powdered
  • Pistachios - 8, roughly chopped (optional)
  • Saffron - few strands, soaked in a tbsp of warm milk for 10 mts
Method
  1. Heat milk in a wide bottomed pan and bring to a boil. Allow the milk simmer on medium flame till it reaches half its original quantity. Keep stirring inbetween.
  2. Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and roughly chopped nuts. Mix well and keep simmering on medium flame, stirring till it further reduces to almost one third of its original quantity. It will have a rabdi consistency and slightly thick.
  3. Turn off flame and allow to cool.
  4. Once cool, place the mixture in the fridge for a few hours. (This helps reduce formation of ice crystals during freezing process)
  5. Pour the chilled mixture into kulfi moulds and close the lids.
  6. Place the kulfi moulds in the deep freezer and allow to set overnight or at least 7-8 hours.
  7. Once the kulfi sets, place the kulfi mould in luke warm water for a few secs to help it unmould easily.
  8. Insert kebab or ice cream stick in the kulfi and serve. You can garnish with more nuts.
Tips
  • Full fat milk is essential for authentic flavour of kulfi.
  • If you do not have kulfi moulds, you can use stainless steel vessels.
  • Kulfi expands on freezing, so do not fill to the brim.
  • You can skip step four and pour the milk mixture that is at room temperature into the kulfi moulds.

PROGAM SETTING: 8 (DOUGH)THE FIRST INGREDENT CALLS FOR 1/4 MILK....WHAT IS 1/4 FOR

Unless the recipe is misprinted, there should be an abbreviation after the 1/4. If it is 1/4 c., then it is 1/4 cup liquid measure. If it is 1/4 t. (lower case) it is 1.4 teaspoon. If it is 1/4 T. (upper case), it is 1.4 tablespoon.

How can I make the milk hotter using the cappuccinator?

Yes you can make a small trick for that. You can use a sqweeter on the milk silicone hose so the milk can flow with more dificalty as long as you can see milk flowing this can be up to 78 C . You should keep the cappuccinatore very clean since you will need the steam to come as easy as possible

I have an Impressa Z5 and it won't **** milk up the tube as either part of the cappucino program or the stand alone milk program. I've checked and nothing in the nozzle is blocked and the plastic pipe...

There are three possible causes to milk not frothing: 1. The frothing tap is blocked: to unblock either use the cappuccino cleaner from Jura, or in 400ml of luke warm water dissolve a teaspoon of vinegar or 1/2 teaspoon of bicarb and run this liquid through the frother until completely finished (or run the cleaning program). The run about 600-800ml of water through the system. While passing the liquid through let the tap rest at froth, and milk setting for 5 seconds at a time. Repeat if necessary. To prevent this in future clean frother after 5 minute of none use. 2. The breathing nozzle is blocked, you can use the Jura Maintenance guide to see how to disassemble and clean and reassemble, but most Juras come with a spare, so replace it. 3. The machine needs to be descaled, since there is lime or scale in it.

Extremely loud squealing noise during steaming milk

This could be blocked. The best way to clear this is to switch off the machine and see if you can dismantle the frother arm. Sometimes the arm will come off by unscrewing. If it does, wash it in hot water and washing liquid. If it doesn't come off try putting the frother wand into a mug of cold water and allow it just to steam the water.
Frother wands don't just steam liquids - they **** up liquid which can block the vents and the actual steam hole which this machines' problem sounds like it does have.
