How do I connect my ht ct260h step by step, with hdmi input do I use

HDMI can be a bit confusing when first connecting a system. Overall, the HDMI cable system allows for less clutter and digital audio and video, but you need some background to get it right.

The simple answer to your question is that the HDMI on your TV that is labeled HDMI out will go to your soundbar's HDMI input. Now, the reason you have a picture but no sound, will be one of 2 problems. If your TV is labeled with ARC, this means that it has an HDMI with Audio Return Channel and will be compatible with your CT260h soundbar. If you don't have sound, then you need to replace your HDMI cable with a ver1.4 HDMI cable so that ARC is supported in the cable design. If your TV does not provide ARC, then you will need to connect the audio using the digital optical connection which is a fiber optic cable of the TOSLINK variety. This cable should have been included with your soundbar packing.

Also be aware that if you buy a HDMI1.4 with Redmere technology to save on the size of the cable, it has a direction for the signal flow which must be adhered to, otherwise the cable will not pass either audio nor video.

I hope that answers your question.

Does the Samsung UN50f6300af smart led tv support the Samsung Wireless audio soundbar HW-H450?

Because your TV is not Bluetooth-enabled and you are trying to connect it to a Bluetooth-enabled soundbar via Bluetooth. There are other ways to connect your TV to the soundbar:

1. analog AUDIO OUT (L/R) of your TV to the AUX IN on the soundbar (use a 3.5 mm.-to-RCA audio cable).
2. Optical OUT on your TV to Optical IN on the soundbar.
3. HDMI port to HDMI port (this may not work if your TV is not ARC compliant you have to try).

You get better sound quality with option 2.or 3. (if this one works for your TV)

Here is the link to download the soundbar's User Manual for help with the connections:

How to connect soundbar to a TV with a skybox

Connect the soundbar either to the TV's optical output. Or use an Optical to stereo phono/RCA converter box and then a pair of stereo phono cables (red & white) to the soundbar.

If it's a very basic soundbar with just a headphone jack input then you can go from the TV's headphone output instead.

As for the Sky box, just leave it connected via either an AV lead or better still a HDMI cable direct to the TV. The TV will send sound out to the soundbar.
