Please supply the name(brand ) and the model of your machine because different models has different log in methods. Or just look for a button written CLERK/ID or CASHIER or LOG and press that button after any digit

Google search your manufacturer make and model and the word manual. If one is available, you can find it in the search results.

We want to create a tax number for our church, inorder to register the church as a NPO.hOW CAN YOU ASSIST US.

You can make a Department or what is call now PLU as a non tax department. depending on the register, some you can program to print the name of the church when you depress the department key and it would also give you the non tax department on your totals, at the end of the day.

Casio t2100 subtotal will not include taxes

You might have accidentally set tax as add in instead of add on. Try the other system and see if it makes a difference

I just bought XE-A402 cash register how do i set just one depart ment as no tax, for labor

You need to check the tables in the department programming section of the book. There will be a setting for tax or non tax for each tax number. So if you need to turn off tax 1, set tax 1 to non tax. See how you get on.
If you need a manual, C-tech have one here:http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Sharp_XE-A402_operation_manual.html

How do I rename a tax table on my Casio PCR-T2000? I am interested in changing all my registers to the Ontario HST of 13%. Thanks very much.

Use the PGM key and set to PGM. 3, sub total, enter tax table {1, 2, 3, 4}, Tax PGM, 13.00, ca/amt tend, skip to set 'round off/add-on', ca/amt tend, sub total. 4 tax tables are used for the following purposes: table 1 for the federal tax items, table 2 for the provincial tax, 3 and 4 for provincial and different tax table.

How do you tax a certain department on the Casio PCR T2100?

If you look at the section on programming for departments, there is a setting to link each tax number to the department. Just link the tax number that you have set up to that department. If you need a manual, C-tech collective have it here: http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Casio_PCR-T2100_users_and_programming_manual.html
If you still have trouble, just ask.

Casio TE-2400 Cash Register- Keyboard Orientation

Hi. The previous owner just had PLUs linked to the depts that suited them. to link PLUs to depts,
Turn key to Program mode.
3 SUBTOTAL
1166 SUBTOTAL
Now type the PLU number you want to link. E.g if you want to link PLU 6, then press 6 on the number pad (don't press the actual PLU, just type its number on the number pad)
Now press the button marked PLU. It should be near the other function buttons.
Now type the department number to link to. Use two digits. E.g to link to dept 5, type 05 on the number pad.
Press CASH
Press SUBTOTAL
As for NO SALE button, does it actually show the command NO SALE, or NS on the display when you press it? It may have been removed from the keyboard. Does the drawer open when you finish a sale normally?
There is normally a setting in key features for VAT breakdown on the CASH button. Make sure this is set so that it prints the breakdown. Add on means you sell at a tax exclusive price and the tax is added on to that by the register. Add in means you sell at a tax inclusive price and want the register to show how much of it was tax.
Hope this helps. See how you get on.

We have a Casio CE-3415 till that needs all except one department with 12% tax but one department needs onyl 5% How can we do this?

I haven't worked with this model before, but it probably runs taxes like the other Casio registers. You set two tax rates (tax1 and tax2), then you link each tax to a desired department. See if you can work it out using your manual or flick me a copy and I'll help you through it.

Remove Casio PCR-T2000 Tax Table 2

Hi. You are working in the wrong area. You need to tell each department not to add TAX2. Go to the department programming, and there should be a setting that says use tax1, use tax 2 etc. Turn off tax2 for any depts that you don't want it added and it will no longer print or calculate tax 2 for that department.
