The Kenmore 158.1787180 uses a low shank sewing machine foot. See some of the parts here: https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/kenmore-158-1787180-sewing-machine-parts.aspx?index=1 . As long as you get the correct shank height, most presser feet are universal. You can also get the snap-on feet and an appropriate shank to snap-on foot universal adapter. (Some button-hole feet need to plug into the sewing machine, for example.)
It can be hard to measure the shank on presser feet. You need the distance from the bottom of the foot to the bottom of the screw opening. See https://www.anniescatalog.com/pages/which_foot.html . I've found calipers are better then most tape measures for this. (If you measure to the absolute center of the screw, then you add 1/4".)
Contact the manufacturer of your sewing machine on their website. Look for Support. Give them the model number and serial number of your machine and they should be able to help you.
Or try searching eBay for your make and model number of sewing machine add +zipper to the search term and it should bring up anything with zipper in the description.
are you needing a quilting foot for the brother sewing machine? some sewing machine do use universal parts and some don't. it really depends on the name of the sewing machine and the model number. some parts you can get from a sewing machine's part store and others you have to go thru a dealer.
Hi
I got parts for my Toyota 9090 from the Aisin French site.
I couldn't see your model listed but did find parts fro the 2600, maybe they are similar? http://www.aisin.fr/-c-44_46.html?page=1&sort=3a
They have a buttonhole foot which looks identical to the one for my machine and a couple of zipper feet.
Postage was quite expensive, it will probably cost more than the pieces themselves.
However, I had the parts in 4 days (from France to Spain).
Hope this helps!
