Hi, the E4 error means the water heater element does not work properly or the filter mesh is blocked. Most likely the heating element burned out/thermal fuse or Clean the filter mesh to resolve the problem.

two things, your water inlet valve could be going bad. your drain hose from dishwasher is lower than the sink, so whenever the sink is being used, water will slowly back up into dishwasher. if this is the case, just loop the drain hose under the sink, this should solve your problem

4 screws takes the front off the washer to find the leak, dryer probably needs drum rollers. If you didnt know maytag went bankrupt for a reason

Try turning it the other way.

Some of these things have left hand threads (as in "you have to do it up to get it off") so they won't unscrew themselves in use - and this is often made more confusing by the fact that you're trying to screw something on towards you.
