Hi!
It is best to have someone check your printer for blocks or anything that may have caused the paper getting stuck. Another thing to do is to fan the stack of paper that you load. Do not load it straight away. Sometimes paper get stuck to each other and cause some loading issues.
Try a fine screwdriver or a needle they are much more sturdy than a paper clip and should yield better results. When you get the tray open give it a blast of compressed air to blow out any debris and see if you might have a tiny loading belt present, if yes make sure it is snug usually located underneath the loading door.
The way you describe your error, it seems that there is still some residual paper stuck inside the printer that may cause subsequent paper to be mis-aligned.
Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:
1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

check for a paper jam or an ink cartridge jam which was not properly aligned. usually thse are reasons. also check your ink levels and never touch the part of the ink cartridge connected to the printer. just keep pressing cancel or X, cancel the documents, then load another paper then press on start copy. this should work.
Request you to get it check with the engineer personally or their might be a piece of paper stucked somewhere in the corner. I tried the same and was fixed
If you are using MS Vista Operating System then your scanner feature will not work as there is no provision for it in Vista. If you are using MS XP or older, unistall the software from your pc. Detach the device and restart the pc. Re-install the drivers from the cd. DO NOT CONNECT the printer at this stage. Connect it ONLY when prompted or at the completion of installation. Good luck
