Probably due to lots of apps running in current and background sessions. Turn some of the unneeded apps off, and understand that as you use your phone the battery will become warm as it provides the current to the phone.

My cell phone gets hot

Does it get hot when you're using it or charging it?

If it's when you're charging it, then you should try another charger. If it gets hot with another charger, then replace the battery.
If it gets hot when using it, take it to a repair shop, there's something drastically wrong with it.

Phone getting hot

Your phone getting hot is a very normal thing. Mobile devices now are getting more powerful and dissipating heat using copper only goes so far. It's natural for your phone to get hot during usage, when playing games etc. But if your battery gets really hot, i.e. could cause burns or you feel that it's much hotter than it's supposed to be, please get it checked on, battery malfunctions may cause harm.

My nokia E75 phone gets too hot after a short while of usage. How do fix it

What makes these hot is the battery inside the phone and not the unit itself. Genrally in hot temperators this would be considered normal, A new battery would help a bit. These phones do get hot because of there bettery cells. Not much you could fix this with, you would not want to use ice cubes.

All devices with betteries will gain a temp this is normal but if the device gets too hot then a battery switchout would be recommended.

My nokia 6300 is alsway hot when using it,wot can i do

Cell phones usually get hot for one of three reasons. The first is from prolonged use. If you talk for long periods of time, your phone uses a lot of battery power which causes it to become hotter than making calls that last only a minute or so. (No real worries.)

The second reason that cell phones become hot is because the battery is becoming defective or getting old. To see if it may be your battery, after using your phone for several minutes - and it becomes hot - turn the phone off and take out the battery. If the battery is what is hot you should consider ordering a new battery for your phone because it is likely to quit working soon thereafter. How long thereafter depends on the battery.

The third reason I've seen phones get hot is because they were manufactured overseas (like China) where their manufacturing standards are not the same as manufacturers who (legally) supply the United States market. (Read: these phones put out higher microwave energy that can actually cause physical damage to the user.) If you purchased your phone from your cellular provider - you should be O.K. But, if you purchased your phone on eBay (for example) from some seller in China at a heavily discounted price - I'd seriously consider purchasing a phone made for the U.S. market. Especially if its getting hot.

Cell not switching on n battery getting hot.if battery is put to charging its not displaying "battery charging" as such cell is not at all working.

Hi,what causes a phone to get hot and kills the battery,is because an IC inside the phone board is faulty (bridging) and a makes the phone to get hot and discharge the battery faster.

You can take it to a skilled personnel for repairs.

Take care.

My propel gets extramly hot to the touch when charging

This will usually happen if you are using the phone while its charging. it will become hot in this case but, not instantly. if this happens instantly after it is plugged in, you should return it immediately. is is defective. the cell could blow.
