i do not think or care how long the electrical cord can be, as long as you have hot (positive) + cold (negative) line, when i ran phone lines in the military we ran wire up to 1 mile and we can test it with electric and ohms meter. both way works, and i know you are not running the wire a mile long. have 60hz or 50hz cycles every second flopping in both direction 60hz or 50hz off set. here is a formulas

Hi, My advice is don't make the cord too long. they can heat up and start on fire if its too long.

The voltage difference can be overcome. The problem will be the difference in frequency 50hz vs 60hz. The motors would have to be replaced with motors designed to operate at 50hz. The electronics would most likely need to be replace as well.

Best bet would be to contact whirlpool international to see if the offer a conversion kit/package.

Hook the speakers in series to decrease your chances of blowing the amp and/or speakers themselves. And at high volumes make sure that the bass control is set for flat response.
